Genovega Extra-Large Waterproof Sandproof Beach Blanket 80×80in — Foldable Picnic Rug, Packable Outdoor Mat

Genovega's extra-large 80"×80" waterproof, sandproof beach blanket is a portable, foldable outdoor mat designed to seat 4–8 people comfortably while keeping moisture and sand away.

This oversized outdoor blanket combines a soft top layer for comfort with a waterproof, sand-resistant backing for easy cleaning and long-lasting use. Built with a three-layer construction that folds compactly, the Genovega blanket works as a beach towel, picnic rug, camping mat, concert seat, or car travel essential. It balances large coverage with lightweight portability so you can spread out without dragging grit or dampness into your gear.

How big is the Genovega blanket and how many people can it fit?

The blanket measures 80" by 80", giving generous room for family use or group outings. Typical seating fits 4–6 adults comfortably for a picnic and up to 8 for casual seating; four adults can lie down side-by-side for lounging or naps.

• Full dimensions: 80" × 80" (extra-large square).
• Seating: comfortably fits 4–6 adults; room for up to 8 sitting close together.
• Lying down: space for about 4 adults to recline side-by-side.
• Great for families, group picnics, and camping parties.

Will it keep me dry and free of sand at the beach?

The blanket's lower layer is waterproof and resists sand adhesion, so moisture and grit stay on the outside and brush off easily. The top surface stays soft and pleasant for sitting while the backing blocks damp ground and prevents sand transfer into your belongings.

• Waterproof backing stops ground moisture and puddles from seeping through.
• Sandproof surface lets particles shake or brush off quickly.
• Triple-layer structure balances comfort, protection, and durability.
• Wipe-clean materials make post-use maintenance fast and simple.

How portable is the blanket—can I fold it for travel?

Yes. The blanket was engineered for packability: despite its giant size, it compresses into a compact folded form that is easy to carry or stash in a car. A lightweight design and smart folding pattern make it an ideal travel companion for road trips, RVing, or hiking rest stops.

• Three-layer design folds flat for compact storage.
• Lightweight materials keep carrying effort minimal.
• Fits in trunk, beach bag, or under a camp seat when folded.
• Quick to fold and deploy for spontaneous outings.

What activities and surfaces is this mat best suited for?

The Genovega blanket is versatile for indoor and outdoor use: parks, beaches, campsites, concerts, sporting events, wedding lawn photos, and vehicle travel. Its waterproof layer and durable top make it suitable for grass, sand, damp soil, or hard ground.

• Beach days: sand-resistant and quick to clean.
