Gezond compostable paper plates & utensils 250-piece set — sugarcane plates, cornstarch cutlery, microwave-safe and leak-resistant

Gezond 250-piece compostable dinnerware is a full party set of sugarcane-fiber plates and cornstarch utensils designed to be sturdy, microwave-safe, and biodegradable.

For gatherings large and small, this kit supplies durable, eco-minded disposables that handle hot foods, resist oil and leaks, and simplify cleanup without relying on plastics or wax linings. The pack contains a mix of dinner plates, cake plates and matching forks, knives and spoons — all produced from plant-based materials selected to compost and reduce landfill waste.

How durable are these compostable plates and utensils?

These plates are heavy-duty for single-use service, holding up to hot meals and typical party portions without sagging. The cornstarch cutlery is molded to cut and scoop common foods, offering the strength needed for meats, salads and desserts.

• Sugarcane fiber construction resists bending and leaking.
• Cutlery made from plant-based cornstarch provides knife-like firmness.
• Designed to withstand temperatures up to 248°F in microwave use.
• No wax lining—reduces slipping between stacked plates and improves compostability.

Can I use these plates in a microwave or freezer?

Yes — the plates are rated for microwave use and tolerate moderate freezer storage, making them versatile for reheating or chilling party food. They’re oil-resistant and leakproof, so greasy sauces or dressings won’t soak through as easily as standard paper plates.

• Microwave-safe to 248°F for reheating leftovers or warmed dishes.
• Oil-resistant surface reduces seep-through from dressings and gravies.
• Freezer-compatible for short-term chilled storage before serving.

What makes this set environmentally preferable to regular disposables?

The plates are made from sugarcane fibers and the utensils from plant-derived cornstarch, which are industrially compostable materials that break down faster than petroleum-based plastics. The absence of BPA and wax liners means fewer synthetic additives, simplifying disposal and reducing contamination in compost streams.

• Sugarcane fiber is a renewable byproduct material used instead of plastic or coated paper.
• Cornstarch utensils are designed to dissolve in composting environments over time.
• No wax or BPA — lowers chemical barriers for composting and reduces toxins.
