glitz Cervical Neck Traction Device — Portable Over-Door Neck Stretcher, Velvet Harness & Ratchet Adjuster for Home Decompression

The glitz Cervical Neck Traction Device is a portable over-door neck stretcher that gently decompresses the cervical spine to ease neck tension and improve mobility from home.

If you spend long hours at a desk, wake with a stiff neck, or want an at-home alternative to frequent clinic visits, this compact neck traction system offers a controlled way to relieve pressure in the upper spine. Designed with a ratcheting mechanism, calibrated compression spring, and a soft velvet harness, the unit delivers incremental traction without heavy weights or complicated setup.

How does the glitz neck traction device work to relieve neck tension?

The device uses a block-and-tackle cord system and a calibrated spring to apply steady, adjustable pull to the cervical area. By elongating the space between vertebrae, it can reduce muscle tightness and temporary nerve pressure while improving range of motion.

• Ratcheting mechanism for fine incremental traction adjustments
• Compression spring calibrated from 0 N to 200 N (0–40 lb) for controlled force
• Velvet harness cradles the head to minimize pressure points
• Block-and-tackle cord allows smooth, even extension

Is the glitz cervical traction device easy and safe to use at home?

Yes — the unit arrives pre-assembled and includes a non-marring door stopper so you can install it in most standard door frames without tools or damage. Safety features like the calibrated spring and velvet sling reduce the risk of abrupt forces while allowing you to increase traction gradually.

• Pre-installed assembly saves setup time
• Door-compatible stopper protects surfaces and holds securely
• Gradual tension control prevents sudden pulling
• Lightweight components for stable, controlled use

What tangible benefits can I expect with regular use of this neck stretcher?

Regular, gentle traction sessions can help ease neck and shoulder tightness, support better posture between treatments, and improve neck flexibility. Many users find it reduces the need for frequent clinic appointments by providing effective at-home maintenance.

• Reduced neck and upper-back muscle tension
• Improved cervical range of motion and flexibility
• Convenient self-care option for home, office, or travel
• Potentially lower long-term therapy costs by decreasing clinic visits

How portable and durable is the glitz neck stretcher for travel or office use?

The device is built to be lightweight and compact so you can move it between home, office, or hotel rooms. Durable materials, including a sturdy block-and-tackle system and skin-friendly velvet sling, make it suitable for repeated use while remaining easy to store in a bag.

• Compact design fits most bags for travel use
• Sturdy components designed for repeated setup and removal
• Skin-friendly velvet harness for comfortable, long sessions
• Recommended door height: 74–82 inches for optimal fit
