GLUETREAD Full Size 4x4 Sidewall Tyre Repair Kit — Tubeless Off-Road Patch System, Fast-Curing Adhesive

GlueTread Full Size 4x4 Sidewall Tire Repair Kit is a portable, tubeless sidewall patch system that lets you permanently repair slices and punctures on off-road tires without removing the tire.

When you’re miles from the trailhead, a damaged sidewall can end your day — or your trip. This kit supplies large, purpose-built adhesive patches and an improved rubber formula engineered to cure quickly on the tire surface, plus everything you need to perform the repair roadside. It’s designed for 4x4 trucks, UTVs, ATVs and other tubeless, off-road applications where conventional plugs or patch jobs fall short.

How does this kit repair a sidewall without taking the tire off?

GlueTread’s approach combines a conformable rubber patch and a fast-curing adhesive that bonds directly to the tire’s inner surface. You prepare the damaged area, apply the adhesive, set the patch over the cut, and allow the improved rubber formula to cure — typically within about ten minutes under normal conditions.

• Includes large 4" x 4.5" patches for substantial sidewall cuts.
• Smaller 3" x 1.5" patches for narrow or irregular tears.
• Adhesive formulated to cure quickly without the accelerator accessory.
• Works on tubeless off-road tires so the wheel stays mounted.

What tools and parts are included, and what else will I need?

The kit comes with two 4" x 4.5" patches, two 3" x 1.5" patches, the improved rubber adhesive, and basic prep items to ready the sidewall. You won’t need specialized shop equipment for most roadside repairs, but basic hand tools and safety gear improve the process and outcome.

• Included: large and small GlueTread patches and a tube of adhesive.
• Recommended: tire pressure gauge, utility knife, and safety gloves.
• Optional but helpful: a small wire brush or scuffer for roughening the surface.
• Designed to work without removing the tire from the rim.

How long does a repair last and when should I replace the tire?

A properly installed GlueTread sidewall patch restores structural integrity and can extend the usable life of the tire by sealing slices and punctures that would otherwise force replacement. Longevity depends on damage severity, tire load, and operating conditions; inspect repairs regularly and replace the tire when damage jeopardizes safety or performance.

• Patches are formulated for durable bonding under off-road stresses.
• Best for repairing localized cuts and punctures, not full sidewall separations.
• Inspect repaired areas before heavy or high-speed use.
• Use as a long-term repair when the sidewall structure remains sound.

Can this kit handle heavy off-road use on trucks and UTVs?

Yes — GlueTread Full Size is built for the demands of off-road vehicles, offering larger patch areas and a tougher rubber compound suitable for 4x4s, UTVs, and ATVs. It’s also compatible with mowers, tractors, and golf carts that use tubeless tires, making it a versatile emergency and maintenance tool.

• Sized specifically for larger off-road tire damage zones.
• Improved rubber mix cures faster for quicker roadside returns.
• Works across a wide range of tubeless applications beyond 4x4s.
• Accelerator excluded to extend adhesive shelf life in storage.

Who is this for? Off-road enthusiasts, overlanders, trail mechanics, fleet operators, and anyone who relies on tubeless tires in remote or rugged environments will benefit from keeping a GlueTread Full Size kit on hand. It’s for drivers who prefer to repair and continue rather than swap an entire tire immediately — ideal for emergency fixes, planned maintenance, and saving the usable life of quality tires.
