GoCJ Arizona Ice Large Industrial Ice Packs — Two-Pack 12" x 9" Reusable Gel Packs, -8 °C Cold Retention

GoCJ Arizona Ice large industrial ice packs are reusable, high-capacity cooling pads that replace roughly 10 pounds of loose ice and maintain about 18°F (-8°C) for extended cold storage.

These two extra-large gel packs are engineered to deliver heavy-duty cooling where bulky loose ice isn’t practical. Each 12" x 9" pack ships pre-filled with a proprietary powder; you add water once, freeze, and reuse indefinitely. The form factor is built for coolers, ice chests, and situations where longer-lasting, cleaner cold is preferred over melting ice.

How do these packs keep items colder than regular ice?

GoCJ’s proprietary phase-change formula is engineered to freeze at a lower temperature than water ice, allowing the pack to hold colder temperatures for a longer period. The deep-groove surface increases surface area contact with contents, improving heat transfer so items chill faster and stay cold longer.

• Phase-change compound freezes near 18°F (-8°C) for extended cold retention.
• Deep ridged design enlarges contact area for faster cooling.
• Thick, resilient shell minimizes punctures and thermal leakage.

What size coolers and uses are these suited for?

These are large, heavy-duty packs meant for medium to large coolers, ice chests, and commercial transport; they won’t fit small lunchboxes. They excel for multi-day trips, fishing hauls, catering, and any scenario where you want consistent cold without pooling meltwater.

• Dimensions: 12" x 9" — best for medium/large coolers and insulated chests.
• Two-pack replaces up to ten pounds of loose ice each cycle.
• Built to withstand outdoor use: camping, boating, road trips, and events.

How do you prepare and maintain the Arizona Ice packs?

Setup is a one-time, simple fill: add tap water to the pre-filled powder insert, secure the child-lock cap, then freeze flat. After solidification, use as needed; thawing and refreezing is allowed. Clean the exterior with mild soap and avoid sharp objects to preserve the shell.

• One-time fill procedure — no measuring or funnel required.
• Child-lock cap reduces accidental opening during transport.
• Durable outer material resists punctures and holds repeated freeze cycles.

Will these packs make drinks freeze or damage cold-sensitive items?

Because these packs freeze colder than standard ice, direct contact with beverages or delicate produce can lead to localized freezing over long exposure. Use a cloth barrier or place packs adjacent to contents rather than directly on fragile items to avoid overchilling.

• Cold core reaches about 18°F (-8°C) — risk of freezing nearby liquids if left in direct contact.
• Use insulating layers when transporting frozen goods along with refrigerated items.
• Ideal for meats, fish, and items that benefit from deeper cooling during transport.
