Goo Gone Grill & Grate Cleaner Spray 2-Pack 710 ml — Thick Gel for Baked-On Grease & Smoke Reduction

Goo Gone Grill and Grate Cleaner Spray is a super-strength, biodegradable gel that dissolves baked-on grease and food residue from grills and smokers without harming food-prep surfaces.

Keep your barbecue equipment performing at its best with a cleaner formulated to cut through carbon, caked-on food and heavy grease. This two-pack of 24-ounce bottles delivers a thick, clingable gel designed for vertical and horizontal surfaces in pellet, electric and gas grills as well as most smoker interiors. The formula reduces smoky flare-ups by removing residue that causes excess smoke and uneven cooking.

How does this cleaner remove baked-on grease and deposits?

The gel clings to hot or cool grates to penetrate and loosen carbonized deposits and grease so you can wipe them away with less scrubbing. It’s engineered to break down stubborn residues without abrasive scraping that can damage grates.

• Thick gel formula adheres to vertical surfaces for longer contact time
• Penetrates carbon and grease to soften baked-on food particles
• Wipes off with a cloth or rinses clean with water

Is it safe to use on my smoker or grill components?

Goo Gone Grill and Grate Cleaner is formulated for common grill metals and cooking surfaces, including cast iron and stainless-steel grates. Avoid using it on aluminum or faux stainless finishes; always follow label directions and rinse thoroughly before cooking.

• Suitable for cast iron, steel, and most stainless-steel grates and interiors
• Not recommended for aluminum or faux stainless steel surfaces
• Rinse surfaces after cleaning to remove residue before food contact

Will this product reduce smoke and flare-ups during cooking?

By removing accumulated grease and char, regular use helps minimize excess smoke and unexpected flare-ups that result from old residue. Cleaner grates create a more even heat profile and reduce unwanted flavors from burnt buildup.

• Eliminates grease pockets that ignite and cause flare-ups
• Removes char that contributes to heavy smoke during preheat
• Helps maintain consistent cooking temperatures and flavor

How do I use the spray safely and effectively?

Apply the gel to a cool or moderately warm surface, allow dwell time for penetration, then agitate or wipe away loosened deposits. Rinse with water and dry thoroughly before the next use; always test on a small area if uncertain.

• Spray an even coat, let sit to soften deposits, then scrub or wipe
• Rinse all treated surfaces well and dry before cooking
• Follow label instructions and wear gloves if desired

This two-pack of 24-ounce bottles is ideal for grill owners who want a heavy-duty cleaner that’s biodegradable and formulated for regular maintenance of pellet smokers, electric smokers, gas grills and charcoal setups. Whether you clean after every cook or deep-clean seasonally, it’s built for backyard grillers, tailgate hosts, and anyone maintaining cast-iron or stainless cooking surfaces.
