GORILLA GRIP Bath Rug Mat 24x17 Charcoal — Ultra-Absorbent Chenille, Textured TP Rubber Backing

The GORILLA GRIP 24x17 charcoal bath rug is an ultra-absorbent, nearly one-inch thick chenille mat with a textured TP rubber backing designed for slip resistance, fast drying, and machine wash durability.

This compact bath rug combines plush comfort and heavy-duty performance for small bathrooms, in front of sinks, or by standalone tubs. The dense microfiber chenille pile soaks up water quickly while the textured thermoplastic (TP) rubber backing stays secure on tile and hardwood without the peeling issues tied to PVC or hot-glued mats. The rug is also OEKO-TEX Standard 100 tested for harmful substances and was recognized in the 2026 HuffPost Shopping Awards.

How well does this rug handle moisture and drying?

The thick microfiber chenille is engineered for maximum absorption and fast evaporation. Its dense pile traps water from feet quickly, while the fabric’s quick-dry properties reduce dampness and mildew risk when allowed to air between uses.

• Almost one inch of plush chenille pile for rapid water pickup
• Microfiber construction that speeds drying after use
• Machine-washable for regular cleaning and maintenance

Will this mat stay put on tile or hardwood floors?

GORILLA GRIP uses a textured TP rubber backing rather than PVC or hot glue, offering a stable, slip-resistant base that resists breakdown during repeated washing. The textured surface increases traction against smooth floors, helping the rug remain in place when you step on or off it.

• Durable TP rubber backing tested for repeated wash cycles
• Textured finish enhances grip on hard floors
• No hot-glue layers that can delaminate over time

How do I care for and clean the bath rug?

This rug is built for everyday use and simple care: toss it in the washing machine and tumble dry on low or air dry. The fade-resistant microfiber maintains color and performance even after repeated cleaning, and independent testing certifies the fabric for low emissions and safety.

• Machine wash and low-heat tumble dry safe
• Fade-resistant microfiber keeps the charcoal tone consistent
• OEKO-TEX Standard 100 tested for harmful substances

What makes the GORILLA GRIP rug a reliable everyday choice?

Beyond plush comfort, the rug pairs absorbency with long-term durability thanks to premium microfiber and a robust TP rubber backing. It earned recognition for solving common home-product problems and holds up to frequent use and laundering without losing pile or grip.

• Awarded by HuffPost Shopping Awards for home product excellence
• Designed to soothe feet with thick, cozy chenille pile
• Constructed for repeated washing without backing failure
