Govee Star Projector Lights — 7-Zone Nebula Projector with Matter, Wide 540 ft² Coverage & App/Voice Control

The Govee Star Projector Lights create a layered, customizable nebula with seven separate star zones and wide coverage for immersive room transformations.

Turn any bedroom, playroom, or living area into a cosmic scene using a projector designed for control and variety. This Govee unit blends multi-zone LED projection, wide-field lenses, and smart-home compatibility so you can change color, motion, and atmosphere from an app or voice assistant. It also pairs ambient lighting with white-noise tracks and a sleep timer for relaxed evenings and better focus during creative sessions.

How does the 7-zone stardust system change a room’s look?

Each of the seven independent zones can display different colors, motions, and brightness levels, allowing you to layer effects for depth and realism. You can make one area pulse slowly while another orbits or blinks, producing a natural, dynamic nebula instead of a single flat wash of light.

• Seven separately controllable zones for multi-layered skies
• Custom color, speed and brightness for each zone
• Blink, orbit, breathing and steady motion modes

How large an area does the projector cover and what does that mean for placement?

Equipped with large field-of-view lenses, the projector stretches coverage up to about 540 ft², sufficient for most living rooms and medium bedrooms. Place it on a shelf or mount it to aim at a wall or ceiling; wider lenses mean fewer repositioning attempts to achieve full-room coverage.

• Wide lenses expand projection to roughly 540 square feet
• Flexible placement — shelf, desk, or mounting options
• Consistent illumination across ceilings and walls

What smart controls and sound features are available?

The projector supports Matter along with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can include it in routines and control it hands-free. The Govee app provides DIY zone programming, over 50 preset scene modes, and 18 white-noise tracks to layer sound with light for sleep or focus sessions.

• Matter, Alexa, and Google Assistant compatible for voice routines
• Full DIY zone programming via the Govee app
• 50+ light scenes and 18 white-noise options to mix with visuals

Is it suitable for nighttime use or children’s rooms?

The projector offers a sleep timer, low-noise motor, and selectable low-brightness settings to avoid disturbing rest. White-noise options can complement the visuals to create a calming atmosphere without bright or noisy operation.

• Quiet motor for minimal operational sound
• Sleep timer and low-light modes for night use
• Preset gentle scenes tailored for kids and light sleepers

Who is this for: The Govee Star Projector Lights are ideal for parents who want a versatile nightlight, gamers and streamers who want atmospheric backdrops, and anyone who enjoys customizable ambient lighting tied into smart-home routines. If you value wide coverage, zone-level control, and app-plus-voice operation—especially Matter compatibility—this projector provides flexible options for bedrooms, play spaces, media rooms, and creative studios.
