Guayaki Yerba Mate Enlighten Mint 12-Pack 15.5oz Cans — 150 mg Plant Caffeine, Low-Sugar Energy

This canned yerba mate blends the native South American yerba mate leaf with a refreshing mint profile to create a smooth, plant-powered energy alternative to coffee and sugary energy drinks. It’s formulated to harness naturally occurring caffeine, theobromine, and polyphenols from the mate leaf, providing a more even uplift with reduced sugar and fewer sudden spikes in energy. The pack contains twelve 15.5 oz cans—sized for sharing, on-the-go sipping, or extended days when you want a cleaner source of alertness.

How much caffeine and plant compounds are in each can?

Each 15.5 oz can of Enlighten Mint contains about 150 mg of plant-based caffeine sourced from yerba mate. The drink also carries theobromine and polyphenols naturally found in the mate leaf, contributing to flavor complexity and perceived clarity.

• 150 mg of caffeine per can—comparable to strong brewed coffee.
• Includes theobromine for a milder stimulant effect than caffeine alone.
• Polyphenols from mate add subtle herbal depth and antioxidant components.

What does “lower-sugar” mean and how does it taste?

Lower-sugar indicates the recipe minimizes added sweeteners compared with many energy drinks, letting the mate and mint notes be more prominent. Expect a crisp mint finish on a base of toasted, grassy mate—sweetness present but restrained to avoid an overly syrupy profile.

• Refreshing mint aroma and cool finish.
• Toasty mate backbone with light natural sweetness.
• Clean aftertaste designed to avoid stickiness or cloying sugar.

Will this drink cause jitters or a crash?

Because it uses yerba mate’s combination of stimulants rather than only high-dose caffeine, many people report a steadier uplift and fewer abrupt energy drops. Individual sensitivity varies, so monitor your tolerance when switching from coffee or high-sugar energy drinks.

• Balanced stimulant profile aims for gradual onset and tapering.
• No excessive sugars that often contribute to rapid energy crashes.
• 150 mg caffeine—moderate to strong; assess with personal limits.

How should I use these cans—when are they most useful?

These cans are intended as a portable pick-me-up: keep one cold for morning commutes, bring a can to long meetings, or enjoy after workouts when you want alertness without heaviness. They also work well as a midday replacement for coffee when you want a different flavor and a cleaner sugar profile.

• Morning substitute for coffee on busy days.
• Midday focus aid for work, study, or creative sessions.
• On-the-go hydration-plus-energy for travel and outdoor activities.
