GUND Flappy the Elephant Plush Baby Toy, 12" Grey — Animated, Sings & Flaps Ears, Adjustable Volume

Flappy the Elephant is a 12-inch animated Baby GUND plush that sings, flaps his ears, and plays peek-a-boo to engage infants from birth onward.

Soft, safe, and designed with little hands in mind, this updated GUND Flappy combines cuddly plush construction with two interactive play modes and adjustable volume. Flappy’s embroidered facial details, super-soft limbs, and huggable body make him suitable for nursery display and tummy-time companionship. The toy is surface-washable for simple cleaning and uses two AAA batteries (not included); careful storage and moderate temperatures help preserve battery life.

How does Flappy entertain a baby?

Flappy offers two distinct responses to gentle presses on his feet so caregivers can choose peek-a-boo or a musical interaction. Each mode is designed to stimulate attention, encourage social play, and provide a predictable sensory routine babies enjoy.

• Press left foot: Flappy covers his face with his large ears for a classic peek-a-boo game.
• Press right foot: Flappy sings in a playful childlike voice while his ears flap in time to the music.
• Ear motion and sounds are synchronized to create multisensory engagement.

Can I control the sound level and keep Flappy quiet when needed?

Yes — Flappy includes a built-in volume control so you can tailor sound to your environment. Hold either foot for three seconds to alter the volume setting and reduce noise during naps, outings, or quiet play.

• Three-second press adjusts between volume levels for flexible use.
• Enhanced audio engineering provides clearer sound at lower volumes.
• Simple controls are accessible for caregivers and older siblings.

Is Flappy safe and easy to keep clean?

GUND designed Flappy with infant safety and simple care in mind: stitching is embroidered, fabrics are soft and durable, and the surface-washable finish makes spot cleaning straightforward. Because the toy contains batteries, follow care guidance to protect the electronics when cleaning.

• Embroidered facial features remove choking hazards associated with hard parts.
• Surface-washable fabric allows for gentle cleaning without full immersion.
• Uses 2 AAA batteries; remove batteries before long-term storage or cleaning around electronics.

What should I know about size, materials, and gifting?

At 12 inches tall, Flappy is sized for cuddles, stroller or crib companionship, and easy carrying by toddlers. The plush is made from durable, soft fabrics typical of GUND’s premier line and arrives packaged simply for gifting or registry lists.

• 12" height fits small arms and nursery displays.
• Durable plush fabric is built to stay soft over repeated hugs.
• Arrives in poly bag packaging — perfect for baby showers and registries.
