How quickly will the Hamilton Beach urn brew a full batch?

This urn is engineered for speed, brewing at roughly one cup per minute so large quantities are ready without long waits. That makes it practical for events where multiple pots would otherwise be necessary.

• Brews approximately 1 cup per minute for fast turnaround.
• Capacity ranges from 15 to 45 cups so you can scale batch size.
• Ready indicator light signals when the brewing cycle is finished.

Can I control how coffee is dispensed for single cups or continuous filling?

The urn features a two-way dispensing valve that’s simple to operate for either single-serve or continuous pouring. The lever action fills travel mugs, disposable cups, or carafes without needing to lift the unit.

• Push lever one direction for single cup, the other for continuous flow.
• Accommodates travel mugs and standard disposable cups without spills.
• Large spout and steady flow reduce splashing and make refilling easy.

What design and cleanup features make this urn convenient?

Practical details like a twist-lock lid, internal water-level markings, and a removable power cord simplify use and storage. Several components are dishwasher safe so routine cleanup is quicker after events.

• Clear internal water markers for precise filling and monitoring.
• Twist-lock lid and large carrying handles for secure transport.
• Dishwasher-safe twist-lock lid and brew basket for fast washing.
• Removable cord stores inside or separately to save space.

How does the urn keep coffee hot without burning it?

The heating system maintains serving temperature until poured, while the ready light tells you when the brew is complete. This balance helps preserve flavor for the duration of most events without overheating grounds.

• Internal heating keeps coffee at serving temperature.
• Ready-to-serve light indicates completion of the brew cycle.
• Designed to avoid excessive heat that can scorch flavor during service.
