HTZSAFE Driveway Alarm Wireless Motion Sensor Kit — 1 Receiver + 2 Sensors, 1/2 Mile Range, Weatherproof

The HTZSAFE Driveway Alarm is a weatherproof wireless motion-alert kit with two battery-powered sensors and a plug-in receiver that notifies you of approaching people or vehicles up to a half mile away.

If you want a simple, expandable way to monitor entrances, driveways, gates or outbuildings without running wires, this HTZSAFE kit delivers long-range wireless alerts and adjustable detection settings. The system arrives pre-paired so you can set sensors on posts, walls or trees and start receiving chimes in minutes. It balances range and false-alarm rejection with selectable sensitivity and multiple melodies so alerts are useful rather than intrusive.

How far will the alarm reliably transmit signals?

The receiver and sensors use improved wireless transmission (FSK + FHSS), designed to carry signals up to 1/2 mile line-of-sight under ideal conditions. Real-world range depends on terrain, buildings, foliage and interference, so distances in neighborhoods or heavily wooded lots may be shorter. You can place receivers closer to areas with obstacles to ensure consistent coverage.

• Maximum theoretical wireless range: 1/2 mile (line-of-sight)
• Performance affected by walls, trees, terrain and RF sources
• Use additional receivers to overcome obstructions

What detection distance and false-alarm protection does it offer?

Each sensor detects motion from approximately 35 to 50 feet, with two sensitivity settings to suit different approaches. The unit uses an improved detection chip and angle to reduce false triggers from small animals, wind-blown leaves or sunlight shifts. Choosing low sensitivity limits range to about 35 feet for closer, more targeted monitoring; high sensitivity extends detection to roughly 50 feet for wider coverage.

• Two sensitivity modes: Low ~35 ft, High ~50 ft
• Reduced false triggers from small animals, leaves, and sunlight
• Best positioned facing driveways or paths for vehicle/person detection

How easy is installation and setup?

The kit is plug-and-play: sensors run on three AA batteries each (not included) and the receiver simply plugs into a household outlet. Units come pre-programmed, so pairing is typically complete out of the box — mount sensors on a post, wall or tree using screws or straps and test the detection zones. No wiring or professional installation is required, making it a quick DIY solution.

• Sensors: 3x AA alkaline batteries per unit (not included)
• Receiver: plugs into standard US outlet; pre-paired with sensors
• Mounting options: walls, posts, fences, trees; installation in minutes

Can I expand the system and customize alerts?

The HTZSAFE system supports up to 32 sensors and unlimited receivers, so you can cover large properties or multiple approaches. The receiver offers 35 selectable melodies and four volume levels, letting you assign unique chimes to individual sensors to identify where motion came from. Adding extra sensors or receivers is straightforward for layered coverage.

• Expandable up to 32 sensors, unlimited receivers
• 35 melody choices and 4 volume settings for easy differentiation
• Ideal for multi-gate, long driveways or separate outbuildings

Who is this for: The HTZSAFE Driveway Alarm is aimed at homeowners, small business owners and property managers who want an easy-to-install, battery-powered motion alert system for driveways, gates, porches, garages and outbuildings. It suits properties where running wires is impractical, where you need multiple detection points, or where audible, customizable alerts help you quickly identify where activity is occurring. If you require smartphone notifications or video recording, combine this kit with separate monitoring or camera solutions, but for straightforward motion alerts and long-range wireless coverage, this HTZSAFE kit is a practical choice.
