The Hydro Flask 32 oz wide-mouth insulated stainless-steel bottle keeps beverages cold for up to 24 hours and hot up to 12, with a leakproof flex lid and dishwasher-safe finish.

This 32-ounce Hydro Flask combines durable pro-grade stainless steel with double-wall TempShield insulation to maintain beverage temperatures while resisting flavor transfer. How well does it hold temperature throughout the day?

The bottle uses double-wall vacuum insulation to limit heat exchange with the environment, so cold drinks stay chilled and hot drinks retain warmth for hours. Results vary with initial beverage temperature and ambient conditions, but typical performance keeps cold beverages up to 24 hours and hot ones up to 12 hours.

• Double-wall TempShield insulation minimizes heat transfer.
• Stainless-steel interior resists warming or cooling from the outside.
• Wide mouth accepts ice cubes to extend cold time.

Is the flex lid really leakproof and easy to carry?

The Flex Cap features a secure threaded seal that prevents spills when closed and a pliable handle that’s comfortable to hold or clip to gear. It’s designed for daily movement—toss it into a bag or carry by the handle without worrying about drips.

• Threaded lid locks tightly to prevent leaks.
• Soft, flexible handle provides a comfortable carry option.
• Wide mouth lid thread allows quick opening and cleaning.

Will flavors or odors linger after switching drinks?

The bottle’s pro-grade stainless-steel interior resists retaining flavors and odors, so switching from coffee to water won’t leave an obvious aftertaste. Regular washing keeps the surface neutral and ready for different beverages.

• Non-reactive stainless steel prevents flavor carryover.
• Smooth interior surface cleans easily by hand or dishwasher.
• Neutral finish preserves the true taste of each drink.

How easy is it to clean and maintain?

Both the bottle body and the Flex Cap are dishwasher-safe, making upkeep straightforward for active lifestyles. The wide mouth also allows for convenient hand-washing, scrubbing, and adding ice or drink mixes without spills.

• Dishwasher-safe components for quick cleaning.
• Wide opening simplifies access for brushes and ice.
• Durable finish resists chipping and preserves color vibrancy.
