ICYAIR Stainless Steel XL Cat Litter Boxes 2-Pack — 23.8" x 16" x 12" High-Sided, Buckle-Seal Lid, Non-Stick Rust-Resistant

ICYAIR 2-pack stainless steel XL litter boxes are heavy-duty, rust-resistant cat pans with 12-inch high walls and a buckle-sealed lid designed to contain waste and odors for large or multi-cat households.

These stainless steel litter boxes come as a matched pair sized 23.8" L x 16" W x 12" H each, created for larger felines and homes with more than one cat. The metal construction resists stains, prevents odor absorption, and stands up to claws and daily use. With a non-stick interior, high containment walls and a lid that overlaps and buckles to the pan, the system reduces leaks and makes scooping and cleaning faster. Below you’ll find quick answers to common buyer questions and specific details so you can decide if they suit your space and pets.

How do these litter boxes stop leaks and spills?

The high 12-inch walls plus the overlapping lid and buckle fastening create a secure enclosure that helps keep urine and tracked litter inside. The metal-to-metal seal minimizes weak points where liquids escape, and the tall sides contain even larger cats’ movements.

• 12" high walls to catch urine and reduce splashes
• Overlap-and-buckle lid locks down to the pan for a tight fit
• Stainless steel edges resist warping, keeping the seal consistent

Will stainless steel really stay odor-free and easy to clean?

Yes. Unlike porous plastics, stainless steel does not absorb smells or discolor with time. The smooth, non-adhesive surface wipes and rinses clean quickly, lowering maintenance time and helping the litter area remain fresher between deep cleans.

• Non-porous steel resists stains and odor absorption
• Smooth interior prevents litter from sticking to the bottom
• Safe to rinse or disinfect without degrading material quality

Are these boxes large enough for big or multiple cats?

Each pan measures 23.8" by 16" with 12" height, offering roomy turning and digging space for large breeds. The 2-pack format is convenient for households with two cats or for placing boxes in separate rooms to reduce territorial issues.

• XL footprint provides generous interior area for large cats
• Each box holds up to about 37 liters of litter, reducing refill frequency
• Two boxes allow one per cat or one as a backup during cleaning

How long will these metal boxes last compared to plastic options?

Quality stainless steel is more durable than typical plastic pans and resists scratches, cracking and UV degradation. With proper care these boxes are engineered to serve for several years, offering a better long-term value than repeatedly replacing worn plastic trays.

• Rust-resistant stainless steel construction for longevity
• Scratch-resistant surface reduces roughening from claws
• Built to remain structurally stable for multiple years of use

Who is this for: Pet owners with medium-to-large cats, multi-cat households, or anyone seeking a low-odor, heavy-duty alternative to plastic litter pans will benefit most. If you need robust containment, fewer odor problems, and easier cleaning in a dedicated litter area, ICYAIR’s stainless steel 2-pack offers a practical, long-lasting solution. Make sure the 23.8" x 16" footprint fits your chosen spot before buying.
