Intex Wall-Mounted Automatic Pool Skimmer 800 GPH+ — Removable Basket, Easy Install

The Intex Deluxe Wall-Mounted Surface Automatic Skimmer captures floating debris automatically, improving water clarity by skimming leaves and insects before they sink.

Keep your above-ground pool cleaner with an easy-to-install surface skimmer built for consistent operation. This wall-mounted unit attaches to most Easy Set and metal frame pools, connects to an Intex-compatible filter pump with at least 800 GPH flow, and uses a removable polypropylene basket to trap dirt while resisting pool chemicals.

How does the skimmer remove debris without constant supervision?

The skimmer mounts to the pool wall and routes surface water through a collection basket as your filter pump runs. Floating debris is drawn in with the flow and caught in the removable strainer, so you don’t have to fish out leaves by hand.

• Works with pump flow of 800 gallons per hour or higher for continuous skimming
• Wall-mounted bracket keeps the unit positioned at the waterline
• Removable basket lets you empty accumulated debris quickly

Will it fit my above-ground pool and filter setup?

The unit is engineered for Easy Set and metal frame pools and connects to compatible Intex filter pumps. An adjustable mounting bracket accommodates common sidewall thicknesses, while the skimmer’s inlet links to standard pump hoses for a secure attachment.

• Adjustable bracket for Easy Set and metal frame pools
• Designed to pair with Intex filter pumps (minimum 800 GPH)
• Compact footprint: 8.25" L x 9.5" W x 13" H, 4.57 lbs

How durable and easy to maintain is the skimmer?

Made from chemical-resistant polypropylene, the skimmer stands up to standard pool sanitizers and weather exposure. The quick-release strainer basket and smooth interior surfaces make rinsing and cleaning straightforward to keep flow steady and prevent clogging.

• Polypropylene construction resists pool chemicals and UV exposure
• Tool-free basket removal for fast cleaning
• Lightweight design simplifies seasonal removal and storage

What performance should I expect during regular use?

With an appropriate pump, expect consistent surface clearing that reduces the amount of debris settling to the pool floor. The skimmer improves filtration efficiency by intercepting leaves, bugs, and other floaters, helping your filter pump work less to maintain clarity.

• Optimized for continual skimming when pump is running
• Reduces time spent manually skimming the surface
• Supports overall filtration by preventing large debris from reaching the main filter

Who is this for: The Intex Deluxe 800 GPH+ Wall-Mounted Surface Automatic Skimmer is ideal for above-ground pool owners who want an affordable, low-maintenance way to keep the water surface clear. Choose this skimmer if you use an Intex-compatible filter pump (800 GPH or higher), have an Easy Set or metal frame pool, and prefer hands-off debris removal to minimize manual skimming and extend filter life.
