IQKidz Flower Garden Building Toy for Toddlers, 153-Piece STEM Flower Set with Insect Pegs and Large Base (Ages 3–6)

This Flower Garden Building Toy from IQKidz combines large, toddler-friendly building pieces with themed accessories so young children can stack, sort and build floral scenes that spark imagination and fine-motor practice. The kit includes a 14 x 10 stud-compatible base plate, a variety of flower parts, stems, branches and six insect pegs (snail, butterfly, bee, ladybug, beetle, dragonfly). Parts are made of sturdy PP plastic with smooth edges for safe handling and simple assembly that suits independent play or group activities.

How do kids use the set to build different flower arrangements?

Children mix and match petals, centers, stems and branches to create countless flower shapes and sizes. The modular design makes it easy to swap parts and experiment with color and form, encouraging pattern recognition and creative problem-solving.

• 153 pieces include petals, stems, branches, bases and insect pegs for variety.
• Interchangeable flower components let kids reconfigure blooms repeatedly.
• 14 x 10 stud base plate accepts large-format building blocks for hybrid play.

Is this toy durable and safe for toddlers aged 3–6?

Yes — IQKidz crafted the pieces from durable, non-toxic PP plastic with smooth, rounded edges to minimize sharp points. Components are sized to reduce choking risk for the intended age range, and the construction tolerates repeated assembly and outdoor play.

• Sturdy polypropylene resists cracking under normal play conditions.
• Smooth surfaces and rounded parts for safer handling by small hands.
• Dishwasher-safe pieces make cleanup simple and hygienic.

How does the toy support learning and fine-motor skills?

The set turns playful building into a learning opportunity: stacking and inserting parts build hand strength, dexterity and bilateral coordination. Sorting colors and arranging insects into gardens introduces early STEM concepts like sequencing, classification and cause-effect through tactile play.

• Stacking and pegging tasks improve pincer grasp and hand-eye coordination.
• Colorful components promote sorting and pattern-making activities.
• Role-play with insect pegs encourages language development and storytelling.

How easy is cleanup and storage after playtime?

IQKidz includes a drawstring storage bag so kids can learn to pack up independently. The pieces are easy to disassemble and compact enough for tidy storage or transport to playdates, daycare or outdoor spaces.

• Included drawstring bag simplifies cleanup and portability.
• Components separate quickly for efficient packing and washing.
• Lightweight design makes it simple to take the kit to parks or sandboxes.
