iTouchless 90.8 L Motion Sensor Bin — Large Hands-Free Bin with Carbon Odour Filter

iTouchless 24 Gallon Motion Sensor Trash Can is a large, hands-free waste bin with a patented motion sensor and a built-in carbon odor filter designed to keep kitchens cleaner and fresher without touching the lid.

Keep garbage out of sight and odors under control with a high-capacity, motion-activated design built for busy homes and light commercial spaces. The oversized 24-gallon (91 L) body reduces bag changes and bending, while the infrared sensor opens the lid instantly for no-contact disposal. A continuous activated carbon filter captures and neutralizes food smells so unwanted aromas don’t circulate in the kitchen.

How does the motion sensor improve daily kitchen use?

The advanced infrared sensor detects movement near the lid and lifts instantly, eliminating the need to touch a dirty surface. Its sensitivity reduces false openings while responding fast when you’re disposing of plates, coffee grounds, or packaging. This makes routine cleanup quicker and more sanitary.

• Instant, contactless lid opening with Sensor 2.0
• Reduced risk of cross-contamination from touching the lid
• Reliable detection for hands-full disposal

Will the carbon filter really control odors effectively?

The bin includes a continuous activated carbon absorbent that traps common kitchen odors at the source without masking them with fragrances. It captures large-scale food smells like leftovers and fruit waste, helping the kitchen air stay neutral between emptying cycles. The cartridge is replaceable for ongoing odor control.

• Integrated continuous carbon filter for neutralizing odors
• No added perfumes — traps smells instead of covering them
• Accessible filter compartment for easy replacement

Can this large can fit in a busy kitchen without taking too much floor space?

Despite its 24-gallon capacity, the can’s slim oval base is designed to tuck beside cabinets, islands, or in corners where floor space is limited. The tall profile lets you dispose of plates and food without bending over deeply, while still using standard 24-gallon tall trash bags. That combination keeps the footprint compact while maximizing volume.

• Deep 91 L capacity for fewer bag changes
• Slim oval shape that fits next to islands and cabinetry
• Compatible with standard 24-gallon tall bags — no special liners needed

What power options does the bin offer for flexible placement?

The unit runs on four D batteries for cordless convenience, delivering extended battery life so it can sit anywhere in the room. For continuous, battery-free operation you can plug it in using an optional AC adapter through the built-in jack (adapter sold separately). This allows placement where an outlet is available or fully wireless use when it’s not.

• Wireless operation up to about 18 months on 4 D batteries
• Built-in jack to use an optional AC power adapter
• Battery or plug-in options let you place it flexibly around the home
