JLab Flex Clip-On Open-Ear Bluetooth Earbuds — Black, 21+ Hr Battery & IPX4 Sweat Resistance

JLab Flex are lightweight clip-on open-ear Bluetooth earbuds that rest outside the ear canal to deliver clear audio while keeping you aware of your surroundings.

These black JLab Flex open-ear headphones use a clip-on cuff design and dual 12mm drivers to offer an open-air listening experience without in-ear tips. With Bluetooth 5.3, multipoint support and Google Fast Pair, they connect quickly to phones, tablets and laptops. The package includes a compact charging case that extends total playtime to over 21 hours, and IPX4 sweat resistance for workouts and daily use.

How do JLab Flex earbuds stay comfortable and secure all day?

The Flex uses a soft, ergonomic cuff that hooks over the outer ear so there’s no pressure inside the ear canal. This clip-on approach reduces fatigue during extended wear and keeps the buds stable during movement without small silicone tips.

• Clip-on cuff wraps the outer ear for a secure fit.
• No in-ear tips — comfortable for long sessions.
• Lightweight build designed to minimize bounce during activity.
• IPX4 rating protects against sweat and light rain.

What does the open-ear audio sound like and how loud is it?

Dual 12mm drivers positioned outside the ear canal provide open-air audio with a bass-boost algorithm to keep low end present without blocking environmental sounds. You get clear mid and high frequencies suitable for playlists, podcasts and calls while remaining aware of traffic and surroundings.

• Dual 12mm open-ear speakers for balanced sound.
• Bass-boost algorithm enhances low frequencies.
• Sound designed to preserve situational awareness.
• Custom EQ available through the JLab app for tailored listening.

How long does the battery last and how fast do they pair?

Each earbud delivers 7+ hours of playback on a single charge; the included charging case increases total runtime to more than 21 hours. Bluetooth 5.3 ensures stable connections and Google Fast Pair provides near-instant setup for Android devices.

• 7+ hours per earbud on a single charge.
• 21+ total hours with the charging case.
• Bluetooth 5.3 for stable wireless performance.
• Fast Pair for quick Android pairing and multipoint for two-device connections.

Can I take calls and customize controls?

Yes—Flex features a MEMS noise-reducing microphone to improve call clarity and touch controls that you can remap in the JLab app. The app also unlocks adjustable EQ presets so you can prioritize bass, vocals or a balanced profile depending on your content.

• MEMS mic filters background noise for clearer calls.
• Touch controls on each earbud; settings customizable in-app.
• JLab app EQ presets and custom tuning options.
• Backed by a two-year warranty for added peace of mind.

Who is this for: JLab Flex open-ear earbuds suit commuters, active users and anyone who prefers environmental awareness while listening. They’re ideal for runners, cyclists and office users who want long battery life, reliable Bluetooth connectivity and the comfort of a non-intrusive clip-on design.
