Joydeco Blackout Curtains 96-inch 2-Panel Set — Room-Darkening, Noise-Reducing Long Drapes

These Joydeco long blackout drapes arrive as two 52" x 96" panels made from dense, wrinkle-resistant microfiber with both rod pocket and back-tab hanging options. They’re engineered to block most daylight and UV rays while improving privacy, softening street sounds and helping stabilize indoor temperatures. Machine-washable and available in multiple lengths and colors, the panels suit bedrooms, media rooms and living spaces where controlled light and quiet matter.

How much light do these curtains actually block?

The triple-weave polyester construction provides strong room-darkening performance, blocking between 75% and 99% of incoming sunlight depending on color and mounting. For near-complete blackout, choose the deeper shades and mount the panels to overlap the window frame fully.

• Triple-weave fabric design for superior light control
• Deeper colors deliver the highest blackout percentage
• Recommend overlap beyond the frame for minimal light gaps

Can these drapes help with noise and temperature?

Yes — the dense microfiber absorbs a measurable portion of exterior sound and adds an insulating layer that reduces heat transfer. While not soundproofing or HVAC-grade insulation, the panels noticeably soften street noise and aid energy efficiency when used with proper window seals.

• Fabric reduces more than 35% of outside noise in typical conditions
• Thermal insulation moderates room temperature year-round
• Works best combined with tight window fit and layered window treatments

How do I hang and care for these curtains?

Joydeco includes two styling options: a classic rod pocket for a gathered look and back tabs for a tailored, floating appearance. Care is simple — machine wash in a mesh bag with mild detergent, avoid bleach, and tumble-dry low or hang to preserve the wrinkle-resistant finish.

• Dual hanging: rod pocket and back tabs for versatile styling
• Machine washable (use mesh bag), no bleach recommended
• Single panel 52" x 96"; pair covers 104" wide total

What sizes and colors are available, and how to choose the right one?

Panels come in a range of lengths (commonly 72" up to 108") and several color options; darker tones provide stronger blackout. Measure your window width and desired drop, then choose panels that allow overlap for total coverage; two panels create a full-width treatment for standard 48"–100" windows.

• Multiple lengths from 72" to 108" to match window heights
• 14 color choices — pick deep hues for maximum light blocking
• Two panels (104" total) suit most standard wide windows

Who is this for? These Joydeco blackout curtains are designed for anyone seeking improved sleep, media-room darkness, or quieter, more energy-efficient living spaces. They suit renters and homeowners who want an easy-to-install, low-maintenance drapery solution that looks polished from the rod pocket or back-tab styles. Ideal for light sleepers, shift workers, apartment dwellers on busy streets, and people aiming to reduce glare on screens without permanent window changes.
