K9 Advantix Flea, Tick & Mosquito Treatment for Dogs 9.53–24.9 kg — 2 Monthly Waterproof Doses

K9 Advantix Flea, Tick & Mosquito Prevention for Dogs (21–55 lbs) is a topical monthly treatment that kills and repels fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, biting flies and lice and comes as two easy-to-apply treatments.

If you want a fast, monthly topical option for medium-to-large dogs that treats existing pests and helps prevent re-infestation, K9 Advantix offers a single-dose pipette you apply to the skin along the back. The formula starts working on contact and provides waterproof protection after 24 hours, making it a practical alternative to collars or oral pills. It is intended for dogs at least 7 weeks old and weighing between 21 and 55 pounds; do not use on cats.

How quickly will K9 Advantix start to reduce fleas and biting insects?

The product begins to kill and repel many external parasites within 12 hours of the first application. Because it acts on contact, fleas do not need to bite to be affected, which helps reduce ongoing irritation for your dog.

• Visible reduction of fleas and mosquitoes often within half a day
• Kills adult fleas on contact before egg-laying
• Helps stop lice, ticks and biting flies from continuing to bite

How do I apply the treatment and how long does it last?

Application is a one-time pipette per monthly dose placed on the skin in the between-shoulder area so the product spreads over the coat. Each treatment provides up to 30 days of protection, and two treatments are included in the package.

• Part the hair at shoulder blades and apply directly to skin
• Waterproof after 24 hours — avoid bathing for one day post-application
• Repeat monthly as directed on the label for continuous protection

Is K9 Advantix safe for my dog and how does it compare to other options?

K9 Advantix is an over-the-counter topical product formulated for dogs meeting the weight and age guidelines. It avoids the need for collars or oral medications, though you should follow label directions and consult your veterinarian for specific health concerns or for multi-pet households including cats.

• Suitable for dogs 21–55 lbs and 7 weeks of age or older
• Fragrance-free with a waterproof finish after 24 hours
• Convenient monthly schedule and no prescription required

What precautions should I take before using K9 Advantix?

Read and follow the label directions closely. Do not apply to cats or animals smaller than the indicated weight range. If your dog has a history of skin sensitivity or is pregnant, consult your veterinarian before use.

• Do not use on cats — can be harmful to felines
• Keep treated dogs away from children until application site is dry
• Contact a veterinarian if unusual reactions occur after application
