What makes the 146-card Rainbow Edition set special?

This Series 1 collection blends fan-favorite characters with themed special cards to create a varied collecting experience. Art styles range from standard full-color prints to transparent and extra-rare finishes, offering visual and rarity contrast across the set.

• Complete count: 146 unique cards in the set.
• Ten rarity tiers, from common (R) to ultra-rare (XR).
• Special inserts like Hearts and Hooves Day XR and Cute Transparent cards.
• Artwork emphasizes core franchise themes: friendship, courage, teamwork.

How many packs and cards are in the display box, and how are packs structured?

The sealed display box contains 20 foil-sealed packs, with five cards inside each pack for a total of 100 cards per box—drawn from the larger 146-card set. Packs follow a distribution pattern that balances common and rarer cards so collectors get a mix of expected and surprising pulls.

• 20 packs per display box.
• 5 cards in every pack (100 cards total out of the full set).
• Randomized distribution: duplicates are possible and expected.
• Rarity distribution follows the production ratios across the run.

Which rarity levels and special cards should I expect to find?

Rarity tiers span ten levels providing gradual collectibility—from commons to the most elusive XR variants. The set lists precise counts per tier, helping collectors track which card types remain to complete the set.

• Rarity breakdown includes: XR, MTR, TGR, USR, UR, TR, FR, SSR, SR, and R tiers.
• Notable counts: 7 XR, 18 MTR, 8 TGR, 8 USR, 15 UR, 12 TR, 18 FR, 15 SSR, 15 SR, 30 R.
• Special themed XR card: Hearts and Hooves Day design.
• Cute Transparent Card variant adds display appeal.

How should I manage duplicates and build my collection effectively?

Because packaging is randomized, duplicates are common when opening multiple packs or boxes. Strategies such as trading with other collectors, buying targeted singles, or purchasing a complete set can help fill gaps efficiently without relying solely on blind packs.

• Expect duplicates across packs and boxes due to random distribution.
• Trading or swapping with other fans speeds completion.
• Consider buying singles for specific rare cards you need.
• Store cards in sleeves or binders to preserve condition and value.

Who is this for? Collectors seeking a visually diverse My Little Pony card set and fans who enjoy the thrill of randomized pulls will appreciate the Rainbow Edition. It suits casual fans wanting a colorful keepsake, hobbyists aiming to complete tiered rarity runs, and anyone who enjoys trading—especially families and long-time franchise enthusiasts. Keep in mind the random packaging: this product is best for those who enjoy collecting, trading, and displaying illustrated cards rather than buyers looking for guaranteed single-card acquisition.
