KitchenAid Stainless Steel Tongs Set 7" & 9" — Scalloped Edges, Easy-Lock, Dishwasher Safe

KitchenAid stainless steel tongs set — two sizes (7" and 9") with scalloped edges and an easy-lock for compact storage.

These KitchenAid Universal Stainless Steel Tongs are built to handle flipping, serving, and sautéing without tearing delicate foods. Crafted from resilient stainless steel and shaped with scalloped edges, the pair provides a secure hold on everything from slippery vegetables to grilled proteins. The set includes two lengths so you can pick the right reach for tabletop serving or stovetop cooking, and both tongs fold flat with a simple locking tab for tidy drawer storage. Dishwasher safe and backed by KitchenAid's limited lifetime warranty, they’re designed for regular kitchen use.

How do the scalloped edges improve grip when cooking?

The scalloped edges increase surface contact and gently cradle food items so you can lift and turn without piercing or shredding. That makes them especially useful for handling delicate foods like fish fillets, roasted vegetables, or stacked burgers. The design balances hold and care, avoiding compressing soft textures while preventing slips.

• Scalloped jaw profile for broader contact and secure hold
• Non-piercing edges protect delicate surfaces and presentation
• Suitable for both slippery and fragile foods

What tasks are the 7" and 9" tongs best suited for?

The 7" tongs are ideal for close, controlled tasks like tossing salads, plating, or turning small pieces in a sauté pan. The 9" tongs give extra reach for grilling, frying, or serving from deeper containers without getting too close to heat. Having both lengths lets you match the tool to the job for safer handling and better results.

• 7" — salad tossing, plating, small pans, indoor serving
• 9" — grilling, sautéing, deeper pots and bowls, outdoor use
• Both — versatile for serving, flipping, and portioning

Are these tongs easy to clean and store?

Yes — the tongs are dishwasher safe for straightforward cleanup after meals. Each tong also has an easy-lock mechanism that folds the handles together, allowing the pair to lie flat and occupy minimal drawer space. The stainless steel construction resists staining and rinses clean without special care.

• Dishwasher safe for quick, hands-off cleaning
• Easy-lock keeps the tongs closed and compact for storage
• Stainless steel resists corrosion and holds up to frequent use

How durable are these KitchenAid tongs and what warranty is included?

Constructed from durable stainless steel, the tongs are designed for everyday kitchen tasks and regular dishwashing. Their solid build and simple mechanical lock reduce failure points that commonly affect cheaper models. KitchenAid provides a limited lifetime warranty, offering reassurance against defects in materials and workmanship within the warranty terms.

• Stainless steel body built for repeated use
• Minimal moving parts to reduce wear and failure
• Limited lifetime warranty from KitchenAid for covered issues
