Koala Babycare Silver Nursing Cups Nipple Shields — Maxi Size, Tri-Laminate 999 Silver Protection

Koala Babycare The Original Silver Nursing Cups are reusable, tri-laminate silver nipple shields designed to protect, soothe and discreetly cover sore or cracked nipples during breastfeeding.

These nipple shields use pure 999 silver in a non-perforated, anatomical cup to shield the nipple from friction and contact with clothing while supporting a moist environment that preserves silver’s natural soothing influence. Lightweight and discreet, the cups come in two sizes and can be worn under a bra for day-to-day comfort or used as a preventative measure in late pregnancy.

How do Koala Silver Nursing Cups help with sore or cracked nipples?

The cups act as a physical barrier between sensitive skin and clothing, reducing irritation from fabrics and friction. Their tri-laminate construction combines purity and structure so the cups hold shape while remaining comfortable.

• Pure 999 silver inner layer for natural properties
• Anatomical shape minimizes movement under clothing
• Non-perforated design supports a moist microenvironment
• Available sizes to suit different nipple dimensions

Will these affect my baby’s ability to latch or change milk taste?

Koala Silver Cups are intended to be removed immediately before breastfeeding so they don’t interfere with latch or alter milk taste. They are odorless and do not contain lotions or creams that could change breast milk scent or flavor.

• Remove cups just before feeding for normal latching
• No creams or additives on the cups to change milk taste
• Lightweight profile helps maintain natural breast shape
• Use of a drop of breast milk can improve temporary adhesion

How do I wear and care for Koala Silver Nursing Cups?

Apply a small drop of breast milk inside each cup, press them onto the nipples and wear under your bra. Cleaning is simple: natural tarnish can be polished away with a baking soda paste and soft cloth without affecting performance.

• Place cups on nipples and secure with your bra—comfortable and discreet
• Clean with water and baking soda paste; polish gently to restore shine
• Oxidation is normal and does not reduce effectiveness
• Reusable across breastfeeding periods, eco-friendlier than disposables

Are Koala Silver Cups safe and what sizes are available?

The cups are made from pure, untreated silver and are free from chemical coatings. They come in Regular and Maxi sizes with precise dimensions so you can choose the fit that best matches your needs.

• Pure 999 silver—no chemical treatments
• Regular: ø 1.69 in, h 0.25 in; Maxi: ø 1.73 in, h 0.47 in
• Non-disposable, sustainably reusable for multiple pregnancies
• Designed to be invisible under clothing when worn properly
