Koala Glossy Photo Paper 8.5x11 Heavyweight 230gsm (27.7 kg) 100-Sheet Pack — High-Gloss, Fast-Dry

Koala Glossy Photo Paper Heavyweight is a single-sided, 8.5 x 11-inch inkjet photo paper with a high-gloss surface and 230gsm (61lb) thickness, supplied in a 100-sheet pack.

If you need long-lasting, vibrant prints from an inkjet printer, this heavyweight glossy paper delivers saturated color, sharp detail and a smooth finish. The bright white base and glossy coating are engineered for dye-based inks, drying quickly to reduce smears and preserve detail. With no back-side watermark, you can also write notes or labels on the reverse of each sheet.

How will this paper improve my printed photos?

Because the paper combines a heavy 230gsm stock with a glossy coating designed for inkjet dye inks, it produces stronger color density and more apparent contrast than standard copy paper. Photos look richer and sharper, and highlights retain clarity without washing out.

• High-gloss coating yields clearer color saturation and sharper details
• Thick 230gsm stock prevents curling and feeds smoothly through most inkjet printers
• Bright white base improves contrast and color fidelity

Is this paper compatible with my printer and inks?

This paper is formulated specifically for inkjet printers using dye-based inks. It is not recommended with laser printers or pigment-based/thermal inks because those technologies require different coatings and heat handling.

• Compatible: Inkjet printers that accept 8.5 x 11-inch sheets and dye inks
• Not compatible: Laser printers, pigment-only printers, or thermal printing systems
• Fast-dry surface minimizes smudging when using recommended ink types

What projects is this heavyweight glossy paper best suited for?

Its sturdy construction and glossy finish make it a versatile choice for many printed items that benefit from visual impact and durability. Use it for photos, creative prints, and any documents where appearance matters.

• Photo prints, portfolios, and family pictures
• Promotional materials like flyers, menus, and brochures
• School projects, calendars, cake toppers, and DIY gifts

How should I handle and store the sheets for best results?

To keep prints looking their best, print in a controlled environment, allow prints to dry flat, and store unused sheets in a cool, dry place. Avoid high humidity and direct sunlight for long-term storage.

• Store flat in original packaging to prevent bending and moisture uptake
• Allow printed sheets to air-dry fully before stacking or framing
• Use clean hands or gloves to avoid fingerprints on the glossy surface

Who is this for: Photographers, crafters, small business owners and students who need a reliable, high-gloss sheet for vivid inkjet prints will find this Koala heavy glossy paper useful. It suits anyone producing promotional prints, keepsake photos or detailed craft projects that require a professional glossy appearance without investing in specialty printers. If your workflow uses dye-based inkjet printing and you want thick, color-rich prints with minimal smearing and the option to write on the back, this 100-sheet pack is designed for that purpose.
