How do I get a photo from my phone to a finished 4x6 print?

Printing is designed to be straightforward for smartphone users. After powering the Dock Plus, connect your phone with Bluetooth through the KODAK Photo Printer app, apply any edits, and tap print. The integrated dock keeps your phone upright and charging while images transfer.

• Pair via Bluetooth using the KODAK Photo Printer app (iOS and Android compatible).
• Edit, crop, and apply filters inside the app before printing.
• Place your phone on the integrated dock to maintain connection and charge during printing.

What makes 4PASS dye-sublimation different for photo longevity?

4PASS dye-sublimation produces continuous-tone photos by applying three color layers and a top protective laminate. This laminated finish helps reduce fingerprints and resist moisture, preserving vibrancy longer than standard ink prints. Each print finishes in about 55 seconds, delivering consistent, smooth color transitions and professional-looking detail.

• Three color layers for accurate, continuous-tone color reproduction.
• Clear laminate layer for water and fingerprint resistance.
• Fast print speed—approximately 55 seconds per 4x6 photo.

How large are prints and how much paper can it hold?

The Dock Plus produces true 4x6-inch photos suitable for albums, frames, or handouts. The tray accepts up to 50 sheets so you can print multiple photos without constant reloading. Because it’s designed for home desktop use, the printer balances everyday capacity with a compact footprint.

• Produces genuine 4 x 6 inch prints—no cropping to nonstandard sizes.
• Paper tray capacity: up to 50 sheets for uninterrupted printing sessions.
• Stable dock layout for reliable desktop placement and use.

Is the KODAK Dock Plus easy for first-time users?

Yes—the Dock Plus is aimed at users who want a no-fuss printing experience. The app-guided workflow and simple Bluetooth setup mean minimal technical steps are required, and the physical dock guides phone placement. Basic troubleshooting and consumable replacement are straightforward for most users.

• Plug-and-play operation with app-based pairing and controls.
