Kohler Cachet ReadyLatch Round Toilet Seat, White — Quiet-Close Soft-Close, Easy-Remove Hinge

This Cachet ReadyLatch round toilet seat from KOHLER blends simple styling with practical features designed to make everyday bathroom use quieter and cleaner. Built to fit most round-front toilets, the seat installs from above the bowl using only a screwdriver, so you never need to reach under the bowl. Made of durable, color-matched plastic, it combines comfort, stability and easy maintenance without extra tools or complicated steps.

How does the ReadyLatch hinge make cleaning faster?

The ReadyLatch hinge uses a positive lock/unlock mechanism that lets you quickly remove the seat for access to the bowl and surrounding surfaces. It snaps back into place just as easily once cleaning is finished, so you can maintain hygiene without wrestling with bolts or awkward angles.

• Positive latch releases seat for full removal
• Reattaches quickly with a secure lock
• Designed to avoid tools under the bowl

Will this seat fit my toilet and stay secure?

This round seat is sized to fit most standard round-front toilet bowls and includes Grip-Tight bumpers and installation hardware to prevent shifting. The top-mounted installation fasteners tighten from above the bowl for a secure, straight fit and eliminate common wobble problems.

• Fits most round-front toilets by design
• Grip-Tight bumpers hold the seat steady during use
• Top-side installation tightens securely with a screwdriver

What prevents the seat from slamming or making noise?

Quiet-Close technology in the hinges controls descent so the seat and lid lower smoothly and silently. This reduces wear on the seat and reduces noise in bathrooms used by children or late-night household members.

• Hydraulic or damped hinge action for slow close
• Protects from seat and lid slamming damage
• Ideal for quiet homes, nurseries, or shared bathrooms

How easy is installation and what tools are required?

Installation is straightforward: the Grip-Tight top-mount hardware secures the seat using only a screwdriver, so no basin access or extra tools are needed. The package includes color-matched plastic hinges and all necessary fasteners to complete setup in minutes.

• Installs from above — no reaching under the bowl
• Only a standard screwdriver required
• Includes color-matched hardware and bumpers
