KOMASTY 20V Cordless String Trimmer & Edger — 12-inch, 2×2.0Ah Batteries, Auto Line Feed

The KOMASTY 20V Electric Weed Wacker is a lightweight, cordless 12-inch string trimmer and edger that runs on two 2.0Ah batteries and features an automatic line feed for fast, fuss-free yard work.

If you need an easy-to-store, battery-powered trimmer that tackles small yards, edges walkways and cuts through overgrown grass without the fuss of gas or an extension cord, this tool is built for that purpose. It combines a high-speed 9,500 RPM motor, a 12-inch cutting swath and a foldable shaft for compact storage. The package includes two 2.0Ah batteries and a charger so you can manage most routine yard tasks on a single charge cycle.

How does the trimming power compare to gas models?

The KOMASTY trimmer delivers a high-speed 9,500 RPM motor that provides strong cutting torque for a cordless tool, designed to handle thick meadow grass and common weeds. While it won’t replace heavy-duty commercial gas units on large properties, it offers gas-like performance for small yards and routine maintenance.

• Upgraded motor rated at 9,500 RPM for robust cutting force
• 12-inch cutting swath clears more ground each pass
• Auto line feed maintains optimal cord length for consistent cuts

Will the battery runtime be enough for my yard?

The kit includes two 2.0Ah batteries that together provide up to approximately 30 minutes of continuous runtime — usually sufficient for small to medium yards or spot jobs. For longer sessions, you can stagger battery use or charge one while running the other.

• Two 2.0Ah batteries included for a combined runtime near 30 minutes
• Charger included for quick between-task top-ups
• Allow batteries to cool briefly before recharging to extend life

How easy is it to store and maneuver around obstacles?

This weed wacker was engineered for compact storage and versatile handling. The shaft folds 180° with three folding positions, and the head rotates 90° while the handle pivots 180°, letting you work on slopes, under benches and in tight corners with less strain.

• Foldable shaft for vertical storage in small spaces like apartments or garages
• 90° adjustable head for edging and 180° rotatable handle for comfort
• Lightweight design reduces fatigue during extended trimming

What maintenance or user steps are important to keep it running well?

Regular, simple care extends the life and reliability of the trimmer. The automatic line feed reduces manual adjustments, but occasional inspection of the spool, line condition and battery contacts helps maintain consistent performance.

• Inspect and replace trim line or spool when worn or broken
• Clean debris from head and vents after each use to avoid buildup
• Let batteries cool before recharging and store them in a dry place

Who is this for? Homeowners, renters and gardeners with small to medium lawns who want a cordless, easy-to-store trimmer and edger that balances power with portability. It’s ideal for anyone who prefers a low-maintenance electric alternative to gas, needs a compact tool for tight storage spaces, or wants a simple 2-in-1 trimmer/edger for weekend yard care. If you regularly maintain large acreage or require industrial-grade equipment, consider a higher-capacity model.
