Kreg Panel Carrier - One-Hand Plywood & Sheet Clamp, 45.4 kg Capacity, Ergonomic Padded Handle

The Kreg Panel Carrier is a one-handed carrying clamp that lets you lift and transport full-size sheets (including 4x8 plywood) safely and without surface damage.

Designed for woodworkers, contractors, and DIYers, this lightweight tool converts an awkward two-person task into a simple single-handed motion. The carrier clamps onto sheets up to 3/4" thick and supports loads up to 100 lbs. Its large GripMaxx™ pads protect delicate veneers while increasing friction as you lift, and the ergonomic, padded handle reduces hand fatigue so you can move panels from store racks, trucks, or jobsite cut areas with confidence.

How does the Panel Carrier protect plywood and finished surfaces?

The carrier uses wide, soft GripMaxx™ pads that conform to the panel surface, spreading clamping force evenly to avoid dents, marks, and veneer damage. Pads are engineered to increase grip as you lift, so the hold gets firmer under load without needing extra clamping force.

• GripMaxx™ pads prevent scratches and preserve veneers
• Large pad surface spreads pressure to avoid concentrated dents
• Automatic squeeze action increases grip when lifting
• Works with delicate and heavy sheet goods alike

Can one person handle a full 4x8 sheet with this tool?

Yes — the Kreg Panel Carrier is built to let a single user manage full-size panels safely. It supports up to 100 lbs and clamps securely to sheets up to 3/4" thick. For long-distance carries or uneven terrain, a second person is still recommended, but for store pickups and short transfers it eliminates the need for a helper.

• Rated capacity up to 100 lbs for most sheet materials
• Clamps panels up to 3/4" thickness without adjustment
• Ideal for short transport from rack to vehicle or workbench

What makes the handle comfortable for repeated use?

The handle features thick, durable padding and an ergonomic shape that won’t dig into your hand. Its design reduces pressure points and gives you a secure, balanced grip so you can carry large sheets longer with less strain. The more you lift, the tighter the pads clamp, keeping the load steady.

• Padded handle minimizes hand fatigue during repeated lifts
• Ergonomic shape improves balance and control of panels
• Durable materials designed for jobsite conditions

How versatile is the Panel Carrier for different projects?

Whether you’re moving plywood, MDF, drywall, or laminated boards, the carrier adapts to common sheet goods used in woodworking and construction. It’s useful when loading material into vehicles, shifting sheets on the jobsite, or positioning panels at the table saw or work area. The clamp’s simplicity means fast setup and fewer trips back and forth.

• Works with plywood, MDF, particleboard, drywall, and laminated panels
• Quick slide-on pads automatically adjust to board thickness
• Compact enough to store in a truck or workshop drawer

Who is this for? The Kreg Panel Carrier is aimed at solo builders, small renovation crews, and hobbyist woodworkers who frequently move full-size sheets and want a safer, faster option than juggling panels by hand. It’s also useful for store pickup runs and contractors who need to minimize team lift requirements. If you handle 4x8 sheets regularly and want to reduce strain, protect surface finishes, and speed up material handling, this tool will make those tasks easier and more reliable.
