Layrite Superhold Pomade — 126 ml Orange | High Hold for Thick, Curly Hair, Water-Based Finish

Layrite Superhold Pomade is a water-based, high-hold styling product that locks demanding styles in place while remaining flexible and non-flaking. Layrite Superhold Pomade (4.25 oz) is formulated to give maximum control for thick, coarse, or curly hair without the stiffness or white flakes associated with some strong-hold products. It washes out easily because it’s water-based and carries Layrite’s signature mild cream-soda vanilla scent. Natural derivatives like coconut and castor oils help add shine and tame frizz while you sculpt high-elevation looks or smooth, controlled finishes.

How does this pomade tame thick or curly hair?

Superhold is designed to grip denser hair types so you can shape and maintain structure even with coarse or springy textures. It penetrates the hair surface to help smooth and reduce flyaways while supporting elevated or structured shapes.

• Formulated to distribute through thick or curly strands easily
• Provides strong hold without hard, crunchy residue
• Helps control frizz and improve manageability
• Rinses clean with water because it’s water-based

Can I build volume or create high, gravity-defying styles?

Yes — the pomade’s firm grip lets you sculpt high-volume looks and maintain elevation all day. It supports texture and structure while drying to a flexible hold so styles move naturally instead of snapping off.

• Grips hair for tall pompadours and sculpted quiffs
• Dries with flexible hold so the style keeps shape with natural movement
• Works well with combs or fingers for different finish types

Will it leave flakes or weigh hair down?

No — Layrite Superhold dries clean without flaking and avoids the greasy feel of heavy oil-based products. It delivers strong control while keeping hair looking polished and light, not chalky or stiff.

• Never flakes, even after hours of wear
• Maintains a natural sheen rather than an oily finish
• Light enough formula for repeated reworking during the day

How do you apply and remove it for best results?

Warm a small amount between your palms and work from roots to ends for even distribution, using more product for denser hair or higher styles. Because it’s water-based, it washes out easily with your regular shampoo and warm water.

• Start with a pea-sized amount; add more for thick hair or taller styles
• Use a comb for structured looks or fingers for textured finishes
• Rinse out fully with warm water and shampoo — no heavy buildup

Who is this for? Layrite Superhold Pomade is made for people who need extra control: barbers styling clients with coarse or curly hair, anyone building high-volume or precision looks, and users who want a strong, water-soluble product that won’t flake or feel greasy. It’s particularly useful for those who prefer a flexible, long-lasting hold with a pleasant mild vanilla soda scent and the conditioning benefits of coconut and castor oil derivatives.
