LE MARINIER Celtic Sea Salt Fine Ground, Pack of 2 (510 g) — Unrefined French, Mineral-Rich

Le Marinier Celtic Salt Fine Ground is an unrefined, hand-harvested French sea salt offered in a twin 1.1 lb pack, delivering mineral-rich flavor and a delicate texture for everyday cooking.

Harvested from the coastal salt marshes of France using time-honored techniques, this fine-ground Celtic sea salt preserves the natural mineral balance and subtle moisture that define artisan sea salts. Because it is unprocessed and free of additives, it keeps trace minerals like magnesium, calcium and potassium intact—contributing to a nuanced taste and a slightly softer mouthfeel than standard table salt. The pack of two 18 oz containers gives you kitchen-ready salt with a finer grind suitable for seasoning, finishing, and routine use.

How does Le Marinier Celtic Salt differ from regular table salt?

Unlike refined table salt, which is typically stripped of minerals and often contains anti-caking agents, this Celtic sea salt remains unrefined and additive-free. The natural evaporation process from sun and wind concentrates a wider mineral profile and preserves a gentle moisture content, which affects both flavor and texture.

• Unprocessed, hand-harvested from French marshes
• Retains minerals like magnesium, calcium and potassium
• Slightly moist texture for a softer mouthfeel
• No anti-caking agents or additives

What cooking uses suit this fine-ground Celtic salt?

The finer grind makes it a versatile everyday salt—easy to sprinkle and dissolve—so it works well for seasoning during cooking, finishing plated dishes, or mixing into dressings and marinades. It’s also convenient for baking where even salt distribution matters.

• Seasoning meats, vegetables and grains
• Finishing salads, soups and sauces for balanced flavor
• Incorporating into doughs and batters for even salt distribution
• Storing at room temperature for regular kitchen use

What nutritional and mineral features should I expect?

Le Marinier Celtic Salt provides naturally occurring trace minerals found in seawater; these are present in small quantities and contribute to flavor rather than serving as a primary nutrient source. The salt supplies electrolytes such as sodium and potassium along with mineral traces like magnesium and iron.

• Contains natural trace minerals, not fortified nutrients
• Provides sodium and electrolyte balance for seasoning needs
• Not intended as a dietary supplement or medical treatment
• Packaged unrefined to retain native mineral composition

How should I store and measure this sea salt for best results?

Keep the containers sealed and store them in a cool, dry place away from strong odors and humidity to preserve texture and flavor. Because this salt is slightly moister than refined varieties, spoon measurement and tasting while cooking will yield the most consistent results.

• Seal lids after each use to maintain moisture level
• Use measuring spoons for baking, or pinch with fingers for finishing
• Avoid open exposure to humid environments
• Two-pack ensures a convenient kitchen supply and backup

Who is this for? Home cooks and food lovers who want an authentic, unrefined French sea salt with a fine grind will appreciate Le Marinier Celtic Salt. It fits people seeking a more complex culinary salt for everyday seasoning or finishing, those who prefer minimally processed ingredients, and anyone who regularly cooks or bakes and wants a reliable, artisan salt in a convenient twin pack.
