Liquid Fence Deer & Rabbit Repellent Granules 2.27 kg — Rain-Resistant Scent Barrier for Plants Up to 24"

Liquid Fence Deer & Rabbit Repellent Granular (5 lb) creates an invisible, scent-based barrier that deters deer and rabbits from low-growing plants without harming animals or vegetation when used as directed.

If deer, rabbits or other four-legged nibblers keep ruining your lawn or delicate garden beds, this granular formula offers a straightforward, low-maintenance way to protect plants up to 24 inches tall. The product relies on a scent animals instinctively avoid, so they often turn away before touching foliage. It is rain-resistant and designed for repeat applications every three to four weeks or after heavy rain, making it suitable for seasonal and year-round use.

How does Liquid Fence stop animals without harming plants?

The granules release an odor that deer and rabbits find unpleasant, encouraging them to avoid treated areas without physical injury. Because it works on scent, animals usually leave plants untouched, and the formula is labeled as harmless to vegetation when used and stored according to directions.

• Scent-based active ingredients repel without contact.
• Safe for low-growing beds, ground cover, and lawns up to 24 inches high.
• Rain-resistant — stays effective until next reapplication schedule.

Where and how should I apply the granules for best results?

Scatter granules evenly across treatment zones such as flower beds, landscaped areas, and turf where plants stay below 24 inches. For consistent coverage, shake the granules across the area and reapply on a routine schedule or after heavy rainfall. In zones with heavy animal pressure, you may need more frequent or denser applications.

• Ideal for low-growing ornamentals, ground cover, and lawns.
• Reapply every 3–4 weeks or after excessive rainfalls.
• Increase application rate in high-activity areas for added protection.

Will I need to switch repellents or rotate products seasonally?

No rotation is required: the animals’ natural aversion to this scent does not diminish, so Liquid Fence Granular can be used repeatedly without alternating to other brands. That simplifies seasonal maintenance and reduces guesswork for homeowners and landscapers alike.

• Designed for continuous use year-round when needed.
• Consistent scent-based action avoids desensitization in pests.
• Complement with the ready-to-use spray for taller plants over 24 inches.

How do I protect taller shrubs or trees that exceed 24 inches?

This granular formula protects plants up to 24 inches tall; for taller shrubs and small trees use Liquid Fence Deer & Rabbit Repellent Ready-To-Use spray to cover foliage above that height. Combining the granular around low plants and the spray for taller vegetation offers layered protection across a varied landscape.

• Granules: best for low-growing plants and ground cover.
• Ready-to-use spray: recommended for foliage above 24 inches.
• Use both products together to protect mixed-height plantings effectively.

Who this is for: Home gardeners, landscapers and property owners who want a non-lethal, plant-safe way to keep deer, rabbits and other small four-legged pests out of low-growing flower beds, ground cover and lawns. It suits people looking for a straightforward, repeatable application schedule and those who prefer a scent-based deterrent that doesn’t require rotation with other repellents. If you need coverage for taller shrubs, pair this granular product with a Liquid Fence ready-to-use spray for comprehensive protection.
