The MCS Studio Gallery 14x22 black woodgrain frame is a durable, classic wall frame that displays 14x22 photos or prints with a shatter-resistant plexi front and easy wall-hanging hardware.

This 1-pack frame from MCS combines a traditional woodgrain look with modern convenience: a 1.125-inch MDF profile, a clear plexiglass face to protect your artwork, and user-friendly turn buttons and sawtooth hangers for horizontal or vertical placement. It’s designed to showcase posters, photographs, and prints while fitting seamlessly into a range of interior styles—from contemporary lofts to traditional living rooms. The frame’s robust construction makes it suitable for long-term displays without heavy maintenance.

How does this frame protect and display my 14x22 artwork?

The frame uses a sturdy MDF molding coupled with a shatter-resistant plexi front and a solid backboard to keep prints flat and protected from dust and minor impacts. Its clean black woodgrain finish provides a neutral, upscale border that focuses attention on the image.

• 1.125-inch wide MDF frame for rigid support
• Clear plexiglass front resists shattering and reduces weight
• Sturdy backboard keeps artwork flat and secure
• Black woodgrain finish complements most decor styles

How easy is it to insert or change a photo?

Changing artwork is quick thanks to the simple turn-button fasteners and slide-in back. No tools are required for routine swaps, so updating seasonal prints or rotating photos is straightforward and fast.

• Turn-button closures for fast access
• Slide-in backing simplifies placement of prints
• Pre-attached sawtooth hangers for immediate mounting
• Hangs vertically or horizontally without extra hardware

What sizes and spaces is the 14x22 frame best suited for?

The 14x22 frame is ideal for mid-sized posters, elongated photographs, or artwork that benefits from a taller-than-wide presentation. Its proportional profile works individually as a statement piece or grouped in a gallery wall arrangement.

• Holds a 14 x 22 x 0.75 inch print, poster, or layered artwork
• Suits living rooms, hallways, entryways, bedrooms, and offices
• Pair multiple frames for cohesive gallery displays

How durable and maintenance-free is the frame?

The MDF construction and plexi face are built for everyday use while keeping the overall weight lower than glass-framed alternatives. Routine care requires only occasional dusting and avoiding prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to preserve the finish and artwork.

• MDF frame resists warping when used indoors
• Plexiglass reduces breakage risk compared with glass
• Wipeable finish for easy dust removal
• Avoid prolonged direct sun to limit fading of prints
