Meidase P70 Trail Camera — 64MP Photos, 1296p Video, No-Glow 940nm Night Vision, Weatherproof

The Meidase P70 trail camera captures ultra-detailed 64MP photos and smooth 1296p video with invisible no-glow night illumination for discreet wildlife monitoring.

Built for hunters, naturalists, and land managers who need high-resolution evidence without disturbing animals, the P70 combines a large-aperture lens with fast motion sensing and efficient video compression. Rugged and weather-resistant, it runs on standard AA batteries and can be paired with a solar panel for long deployments. The camera’s simple on-device screen and menus make field setup and on-the-spot review straightforward.

How clear are the daytime and nighttime images?

Daytime shots offer exceptional detail thanks to a 64-megapixel sensor and a wide f/1.6 aperture that captures more light and finer textures. Night recording uses 940nm no-glow infrared LEDs so animals remain undisturbed while the camera still yields sharp, usable imagery.

• 64MP still photos for high-fidelity identification and cropping
• 1296p HD video for smooth motion and clear subject context
• F/1.6 aperture improves low-light performance
• 940nm invisible IR preserves natural animal behavior

Will the camera miss fast-moving animals?

The P70 reacts quickly: side-mounted sensors and a 0.1-second trigger time reduce missed passes, even for running deer or quick bird activity. Quick capture combined with short recovery intervals delivers higher chances of complete sequences.

• 0.1s trigger speed to catch sudden motion
• Multiple side sensors expand detection area
• Short reset intervals for consecutive captures
• Optimized file handling to preserve sequence continuity

How easy is it to set up, view, and manage footage?

Onboard controls and a 2.4-inch color display let you configure settings and preview images without removing the camera from its mount. H.264 compression stores videos as MP4/MOV files to keep individual file sizes manageable and speed transfers to laptops or mobile devices.

• 2.4" color screen for instant review and menu navigation
• User-friendly buttons and straightforward menu layout
• H.264 encoded MP4/MOV files for universal playback
• Compact files for faster downloads and longer storage

Can it run long-term off-grid?

The P70 accepts eight AA batteries for a ready, low-cost power source and is compatible with the Meidase SP350 solar panel (sold separately) for continuous, maintenance-light operation. Its sealed housing is built to withstand rain and humidity for seasonal deployments.

• Works with 8 AA batteries as a simple power option
• Solar-ready with Meidase SP350 for extended deployments
• Weatherproof casing for outdoor resilience
• Low-power modes help extend field life

Who is this for: The Meidase P70 suits hunters scouting game, wildlife researchers documenting behavior, and property owners monitoring remote areas who want a discreet, high-resolution camera with reliable motion detection. If you need crisp photos, near-silent night recording, and a weatherproof design that’s easy to operate in the field, the P70 is built to deliver dependable results without unnecessary complexity.
