Micro-Scientific Opti-Cide Max Disinfectant Cleaner — 3.79 L Pour Bottle, Broad-Spectrum 2-Min Kill

Opti-Cide Max is a professional-grade, broad-spectrum disinfectant cleaner in a 1‑gallon pour bottle that kills tested organisms in two minutes while cleaning and protecting many clinical surfaces.

Designed for healthcare, laboratory, and high-traffic commercial environments, this low-alcohol formula combines rapid microbial control with gentle surface compatibility. Unlike high‑alcohol sprays that can cloud plastics and adhere soils, Opti-Cide Max provides effective cleaning plus disinfecting action across a wide range of materials including acrylic, stainless steel, brass, chrome, and multiple plastics.

How quickly does Opti-Cide Max eliminate harmful microbes?

Opti-Cide Max acts fast: laboratory-tested organisms are inactivated in a two‑minute contact time when used according to label directions. Its broad-spectrum activity covers bacteria, fungi, certain viruses, and Mycobacterium species used in tuberculocidal testing.

• Two-minute kill time on tested organisms
• Effective against bacteria, fungi, viruses, and tubercle test organisms
• Suitable when rapid turnover is required in clinical areas

Will this cleaner damage plastics, metals, or clinical equipment?

The formula is low‑alcohol and non‑clouding, minimizing haze or brittleness on plastics that high‑alcohol products can cause. It has been validated for use on common clinical materials—including chrome, copper, and stainless—so routine use is less likely to harm equipment finishes when used as directed.

• Safe on acrylic, various plastics, and metal finishes
• Won’t cloud plastics like high‑alcohol disinfectants
• Recommended for routine surface disinfection in medical settings

How does Opti-Cide Max perform as a cleaner compared to alcohol-based options?

Opti-Cide Max cleans as it disinfects: its formulation avoids the protein fixation and residue sometimes caused by high‑alcohol solutions, so soils and biological material are removed more effectively. This makes it well suited for surfaces that need both visible cleaning and microbial reduction.

• Low‑alcohol chemistry reduces blood and soil fixation
• Leaves fewer residues than high‑alcohol disinfectants
• Designed for combined cleaning and disinfecting workflows

What packaging and usage details should I expect?

Opti-Cide Max comes in a one‑gallon pour bottle ideal for refilling sprayers or for direct pour applications. Follow label instructions for dilution (if applicable), contact time, and surface compatibility to ensure safe and effective use.

• One-gallon pour bottle for refill and bulk use
• Low‑alcohol (approx. 20%) formula for surface safety
• Use per label for correct contact time and coverage

Who is this for: Opti-Cide Max is intended for healthcare facilities, dental clinics, laboratories, long‑term care centers, and commercial sites where fast, reliable disinfection and gentle surface compatibility are priorities.
