Minties Dental Chews for Dogs — 24-Count Large Breed (22.7+ kg) Mint Flavour, Textured Teeth-Cleaning & Breath-Freshening Treats

Minties Dental Chews are mint-flavored, vet-recommended chew bones designed to help clean teeth and freshen breath in large dogs over 50 lb.

Keep your large dog’s mouth feeling cleaner between brushings with Minties, a USA-made dental chew that blends natural breath-supporting botanicals and a textured shape to help scrub teeth as your dog chews. Formulated without corn, wheat, soy, added sugar, or added salt, these chews use five natural breath fresheners—peppermint, parsley, fennel, dill, and alfalfa—so each treat is both tasty and gentle on sensitive stomachs. Sold in a 24-count pack sized for dogs over 50 pounds, Minties are intended as a convenient addition to a regular oral care routine recommended by veterinarians.

How do Minties chews help my dog’s breath between brushings?

Minties combine flavorful botanicals and mechanical action: the herbs mask and neutralize odor while the chew’s ridged surface helps remove food particles. They’re a practical, tasty option for occasional use or as a complement to daily brushing.

• Five natural breath fresheners: peppermint, parsley, fennel, dill, alfalfa
• Mint flavor dogs accept readily
• Can be given after meals as a quick refresher

Will these treats actually reduce plaque and tartar buildup?

The chews are designed with a unique bone shape and textured ridges that create scrubbing action during chewing, helping loosen soft plaque and trapped debris. While they assist mechanical cleaning, professional dental care and regular brushing remain essential for long-term plaque and tartar control.

• Textured surface helps remove food residue
• Daily or frequent chewing supports oral hygiene routines
• Vet-recommended as a supplemental dental aid, not a replacement for professional cleaning

Are Minties safe for dogs with food sensitivities?

Minties are made without common allergens like corn, wheat, and soy, and they contain no added sugars or salts, which makes them a gentler option for dogs with sensitive digestion. Always check ingredient lists for individual sensitivities and consult your veterinarian if your dog has known allergies.

• No corn, wheat, or soy
• No added sugar or added salt
• Five botanical fresheners chosen for palatability and mildness

How should I give Minties to a large dog and how often?

Minties are sized for dogs over 50 lb and can be offered once daily or as an occasional treat after meals. Supervise the first few chews to ensure your dog uses the treat as intended and to confirm portion suitability for your dog’s chewing style.

• Designed for large breeds (over 50 lb)
• One chew per day is a common starting point
• Monitor chewing for safety and adjust frequency as needed

Who is this for: Minties Dental Chews are suited for owners of medium-to-large dogs who want an easy, vet-recommended supplementary product to help freshen breath and support routine dental care. Ideal for pet parents seeking treats made in the USA without corn, wheat, soy, or added sugars, Minties are a convenient after-meal option to help scrub teeth and enliven your dog’s breath between professional cleanings and regular brushing. For dogs with known dietary restrictions or severe dental disease, consult your veterinarian before adding any new chew to their routine.
