NATIONAL PRESTO Kitchen Kettle XL 9.46 L Multi-Cooker & Steamer — PFAS-Free Ceramic Nonstick, Removable Heat Control

Designed for large batches and everyday versatility, the NATIONAL PRESTO Kitchen Kettle XL expands on the classic Kitchen Kettle with twice the capacity. Its 10‑quart bowl handles soups, roasts, pasta, and deep‑fried batches while a tempered glass lid and removable Control Master® heat control make temperature management and cleanup simple. The ceramic, PFAS‑free nonstick surface inside and out keeps food release and cleaning easy without using fluorinated coatings.

How does the Kitchen Kettle XL handle big meals and batch cooking?

The oversized 10‑quart capacity gives you room to cook family‑style stews, large roasts, or multiple pounds of pasta in a single pot. It's ideal when entertaining, preparing freezer portions, or canning blanched vegetables.

• 10‑quart bowl accommodates soups, roasts, and big pasta batches
• Wide diameter cooking surface for even browning and searing
• Basket holds large volumes for frying or blanching
• Hookable basket makes draining large quantities simple

What cooking methods can I use with this multi‑cooker?

The Kitchen Kettle XL is multi‑functional: steam seafood, simmer soups, roast small hams, deep fry up to ten cups at once, or boil and blanch for canning. Switching between methods is straightforward thanks to the included basket and tempered glass cover.

• Deep fry up to ten cups for fries, chicken or donuts
• Steam seafood and vegetables with the multi‑use basket
• Roast, stew, boil, and simmer directly in the large bowl
• Tempered glass lid lets you monitor cooking without losing heat

How does temperature control and cleanup work?

The Control Master® heat control automatically maintains set cooking temperatures, simplifying tasks like deep‑frying and simmering. When you're finished, remove the heat control and fully immerse the multi‑cooker and lid for easy washing.

• Control Master® dial keeps temperatures steady during cooking
• Removable heat control allows full immersion cleaning
• Ceramic PFAS‑free nonstick both inside and out prevents sticking
• Large nonstick surface reduces scrubbing after browning

What extras are included and how do they improve results?

The multi‑use basket doubles as a deep‑frying and steaming insert and hooks over the rim for hands‑free draining. The tempered glass cover preserves heat and visibility while cooking, and the broad cooking surface improves searing and browning.

• Multi‑use basket for frying, steaming, and blanching
• Basket hook secures for easy draining and safety
• Tempered glass lid provides visual monitoring of food
• Wide base ensures better contact for browning and consistent cooking

Home cooks who regularly prepare meals for families, potlucks, or freezer storage will benefit most: if you need high capacity, easy temperature control, and the ability to deep fry or steam large quantities, the NATIONAL PRESTO Kitchen Kettle XL offers a flexible, PFAS‑free option. It’s also useful for small catering, seasonal canning prep, and anyone who prefers a single appliance that replaces multiple pots and fryers without sacrificing performance.
