Nature's Blend Freeze-Dried Raw Dog Food for Adult Small Breed, 170 g — Shelf-Stable Multi-Protein

Dr. Marty Nature's Blend Adult Small Breed Freeze-Dried Raw Dog Food is a shelf-stable, nutrient-dense recipe that delivers whole-protein sources and freeze-dried freshness for small adult dogs.

Designed for adult small-breed dogs, this 6-ounce pack from Nature's Blend (Dr. Marty) combines multiple meats, fish, and produce into a freeze-dried formula meant to preserve flavor and nutrients without refrigeration. Ingredients are sourced fresh and carefully freeze-dried to lock in taste and the natural profile of proteins and vegetables, offering a convenient way to serve raw-inspired nutrition in single-serve packaging.

What ingredients are in this freeze-dried seafood formula?

The recipe features a variety of protein sources and complementary fruits and vegetables to create a balanced adult dog meal. Proteins include seafood plus ranch-raised beef and duck, while produce supplies vitamins, fiber, and diversity in micronutrients.

• Multiple protein types: seafood, beef, duck and other animal sources
• Whole fruits and vegetables for natural fiber and phytonutrients
• Fresh ingredients that are gently freeze-dried to retain flavor
• Formulated for adult maintenance with small-breed portioning

How do I prepare this for my small dog?

Preparation is straightforward: the pieces can be served dry for a crunchy, concentrated treat or rehydrated with warm water to restore a softer, raw-like texture. Rehydration also releases aroma and makes portioning easier for small mouths.

• Serve dry as a topper or training reward for extra palatability
• Add warm water, wait a few minutes, and serve for a softer meal
• Use portion guidance on packaging to match your dog's weight and activity
• Store opened pouches in a cool, dry place to preserve freshness

What benefits does freeze-drying offer compared with cans or kibbles?

Freeze-drying removes moisture while keeping the structure of whole ingredients intact, which helps concentrate flavors and preserve many heat-sensitive nutrients. The result is a lightweight, shelf-stable product that delivers a more natural texture and taste profile than heavily processed options.

• Preserves the look and flavor of whole-protein ingredients
• Shelf-stable without needing refrigeration before opening
• Lightweight for easy storage and travel-friendly portions
• Concentrated nutrition suitable as a complete meal or topper

How should I transition my dog to this new food?

When switching to any new diet, introduce the product gradually over 7–10 days to reduce digestive upset and allow your pet to adapt. Start by mixing a small amount with your dog's current food and slowly increase the ratio of Nature's Blend as your dog tolerates it.

• Begin with 10–25% of the new food mixed into the current diet
• Increase the new food by 10–25% every 2–3 days as tolerated
• Monitor stool quality and appetite during the transition
• Consult your veterinarian for dogs with special dietary needs
