Neenah Astrobrights Solar Yellow is a premium 24 lb. color copy paper sold in a 500-sheet pack, engineered for vivid one- and two-sided printing on inkjet, laser and copier devices.

Make announcements, flyers, classroom handouts and attention-grabbing documents with a paper designed to stand out. This Solar Yellow sheet from Neenah’s Astrobrights line combines a bold hue with 24 lb (approximately 60 lb text) weight, giving you a brighter result and a sturdier feel than standard color copy paper. The pack is acid-free, FSC certified and suitable for a wide range of office and educational printers.

How noticeable is this Solar Yellow paper when used for prints?

The Solar Yellow shade is created specifically to attract the eye and improve visual contrast with standard black or colored inks. Because Astrobrights is formulated to be exceptionally vivid, printed text and graphics pop more than they would on ordinary colored paper.

• Ultra-bright color engineered for high visibility
• Optimized for sharp contrast with common ink and toner
• Consistent color across the sheet for professional-looking results
• Works well for headers, callouts and promotional materials

Will this paper work in my inkjet, laser or copier?

Yes — Astrobrights 24 lb. Solar Yellow is compatible with inkjet printers, laser printers and office copiers. The paper weight and finish are tuned to take toner and ink without excessive show-through on most single- or double-sided jobs.

• 24 lb. weight reduces curl and jams in most printers
• Toner and ink adhere cleanly for crisp text and images
• Suitable for single- and two-sided printing workflows
• Recommended for standard office and classroom devices

How does the paper’s thickness and quality affect finished documents?

At roughly 24 lb. (about 60 lb. text), this paper is about 20% thicker than ordinary color copy paper, giving printed pages a more substantial feel and less translucency. That extra body reduces bleed-through and improves handling for handouts, mailers and short-run posters.

• Increased thickness for reduced show-through on double-sided prints
• Stiffer sheets for neater stacking and insertion into folders
• Reliable feeding in trays and finishing equipment
• Acid-free composition helps resist yellowing over time

What eco and archival considerations does this product offer?

Neenah Astrobrights Solar Yellow is acid-free and FSC certified, which supports responsible forestry and long-term document stability. While colorful papers are usually chosen for visibility rather than archival storage, these sheets provide a balance of bright aesthetics and conscientious sourcing.

• FSC certification indicates sustainable fiber sourcing
• Acid-free formulation helps prevent premature discoloration
• Suitable for short- to medium-term records and displays
• Pack of 500 sheets offers cost-effective coverage for projects

Who is this for? Teachers, school administrators, print shops, marketing teams and small businesses who want bold, reliable colored paper will find this Astrobrights Solar Yellow a practical choice. It’s aimed at anyone producing attention-grabbing handouts, flyers, signs or internal documents that benefit from a brighter shade and a heavier feel than basic copy paper. If you need a consistent, printer-friendly bright yellow with responsible sourcing and enough weight for double-sided use, this 500-sheet pack from Neenah provides a professional, easy-to-use option.
