NEW ZEALAND HONEY CO Raw Manuka Honey UMF 20+ (MGO 829+) 8.8oz — High-strength, UMF Certified

This jar of New Zealand Honey Co. Raw Manuka Honey UMF 20+ is a single-ingredient, high-strength manuka honey harvested, tested and packed in New Zealand. The UMF 20+ mark corresponds to an independently verified MGO level of 829+ and is backed by the brand’s licensed membership in the UMF Honey Association. The honey’s dense, fudge-like texture and layered herbaceous flavor with caramel notes make it suitable for daily use or culinary pairing.

How strong is the UMF 20+ / MGO 829+ rating and what does that mean?

The UMF 20+ grade indicates a high concentration of the signature manuka markers used by the UMF Honey Association to evaluate purity and potency. An MGO reading of 829+ confirms that this batch meets the labeled methylglyoxal level measured by independent labs. Together, UMF licensing and lab testing provide traceability from hive to jar.

• Licensed UMF Honey Association member (#2060) ensures verified grading.
• MGO 829+ is an independent laboratory measurement tied to the UMF score.
• Every jar bears the UMF mark and batch trace for quality assurance.

How should I use this manuka honey in my daily routine?

This jar is designed for simple, everyday use: a teaspoon or two per day provides multiple servings from one 250g jar. Enjoy it straight from the spoon, stirred into warm (not boiling) beverages, or drizzled over breakfast items for flavor and texture. Avoid high heat to preserve natural enzymes and aromatic compounds.

• Suggested serving: 1–2 teaspoons daily; 35–50 servings per jar.
• Stir into warm tea (below boiling) or coffee after removing from heat.
• Drizzle over yogurt, oatmeal, or toast for added sweetness and texture.

What makes this jar authentically New Zealand and traceable?

All stages—foraging, harvesting, testing and packing—occur in New Zealand, where strict import laws reduce the risk of blending or dilution. The product is monofloral manuka, meaning bees primarily foraged manuka flowers when producing this batch. Batch testing results and UMF licensing are used to verify authenticity.

• Harvested and packed in New Zealand to maintain provenance.
• Monofloral manuka sourcing for consistent flavor profile and markers.
• Batch traceability and independent lab tests accompany UMF certification.

How should I store it and are there any precautions?

Store the jar at room temperature away from direct sunlight to preserve texture and aroma; refrigeration is unnecessary and can harden the honey. As with any single-ingredient honey, do not give to infants under 12 months. If pregnant, nursing, or managing health conditions, consult your healthcare provider before adding concentrated foods to your diet.

• Keep at room temperature; avoid direct sunlight and extreme heat.
• Do not feed to children under 12 months.
• Consult a healthcare professional if pregnant, nursing, or on medications.
