Nex Playground motion-driven home game console — controller-free, 4-player family active play

Nex Playground is a motion-driven home game console that turns your TV into an active play space for kids and families without controllers.

Nex Playground blends camera-based motion tracking, kid-focused content, and social multiplayer into a compact device that plugs into a TV or projector. Designed to get people up and moving, it ships with five ready-to-play games and supports up to four simultaneous players. The system emphasizes safety and privacy while offering extra games through an optional Play Pass subscription.

How does Nex Playground get the family moving?

The console uses a wide-angle built-in camera and on-device AI to follow natural body motions, letting players interact with games using gestures, jumps, and whole-body movement. No hand-held controllers or wearable trackers are needed, which lowers barriers for younger children and mixed-age groups.

• AI motion tracking via the device camera
• Controller-free play using body movement
• Up to four players at once for multiplayer activities
• Quick setup so play starts in minutes

What games come with the console and how do subscriptions work?

Nex Playground includes five built-in titles such as Fruit Ninja and Whac-a-Mole to start playing right away. For ongoing variety, a separate Play Pass unlocks an expanding library of licensed and original games, with new titles released monthly.

• Five games included out of the box
• Play Pass options: 3-month or 12-month plans
• Monthly updates add new family-friendly titles
• Licensed characters available through the paid catalog

How easy and safe is setup for living rooms and playdates?

Setup requires a single HDMI connection to a TV or projector and the unit sits compactly on a mantle or console. The device is designed for in-home use with content curated for children, no ads or in-app purchases, and strict privacy practices to keep motion data local.

• One HDMI plug-and-play connection
• Small footprint fits on most entertainment units
• KidSAFE+ COPPA certifications and no cloud motion storage
• Content filtered for family-appropriate experiences

What ages and use cases suit Nex Playground best?

Built for ages five and up, the system adapts to family game nights, after-school activity, birthday parties, or casual exercise at home. Its multiplayer functionality and licensed game offerings make it equally appealing for kids, teens, and adults seeking active entertainment.

• Recommended starting age: 5+
• Great for mixed-age family play and small groups
• Portable enough for playdates or shared living spaces
• Useful for short-burst activity and longer game sessions

Who is this for: Nex Playground is aimed at families and caregivers who want screen-based entertainment that encourages movement rather than prolonged sitting. It’s ideal for parents seeking family-friendly, privacy-conscious gaming, hosts wanting an energetic party centerpiece, or anyone looking to make TV time more active for kids and groups.
