NICETOWN Linen-Blend Blackout Curtains 52" x 90" (2-Pack) — 100% Blackout, Thermal Noise-Reducing Grey

These NICETOWN linen-blend curtains block 100% of incoming light with a gray rubber backing while adding textured, timeless style to bedrooms and living areas.

If you want complete darkness without sacrificing décor, these NICETOWN 52" x 90" panels (2 per set) offer full blackout performance and a linen-like, slightly gray weave that layers style over function. Designed to fit standard rods with a 1.9-inch pocket and adaptable hanging options, the curtains reduce light, help moderate room temperature, and give privacy for street-facing windows or home theaters.

How do these curtains achieve total blackout and better privacy?

The panels use a premium gray rubber backing bonded to the fabric to form a continuous light block that limits glow and seepage. The rod-pocket construction overlaps the top of the window to minimize gaps, increasing privacy and darkness without additional liners.

• Premium gray rubber backing for consistent 100% blackout coverage
• Rod pocket edge creates a gap-minimizing seal at the head of the window
• Full-width panels reduce side light when paired with correctly sized rods and returns

Will these curtains help with temperature and noise control?

While not a replacement for insulation, the dense backed fabric slows heat transfer and provides modest noise dampening, making rooms feel more comfortable year-round. The heavyweight coating helps block solar heat in summer and retains warmth in cooler months.

• Thermal resistance from the bonded rubber layer reduces heat gain and loss
• Thicker weave and backing absorb ambient sounds for quieter interiors
• Effective for bedrooms, media rooms, and apartments exposed to street noise

What hanging styles and window sizes do these panels support?

Each panel has a 1.9-inch rod pocket and works with rod pocket, back-tab, or hook mounting (hooks sold separately), so you can choose casual gathers, neat pleats, or a rod-showing look. Two panels measure W52 x L90 inches each and are intended to provide different fullness levels depending on window width.

• Fits standard rods via a 1.9-inch pocket; also compatible with back tabs or hooks
• Recommended fullness: 2x for 35–52 in wide, 1.5x for 52–70 in, light gathering for 70–96 in
• Quick installation—slip onto rod or attach with hooks for immediate use

How does the fabric look and blend with interior styles?

The linen blend has a visible textured weave with an understated gray-earth tone that brings organic depth to a room. Its subtle texture avoids the flat look of traditional blackout curtains and pairs well with vintage, modern, Scandinavian, and transitional décor palettes.

• Linen-like weave adds tactile, visual interest without heavy sheen
• Neutral gray-earth color complements warm and cool interior schemes
• Works equally well in minimalist, rustic, or contemporary settings

Who is this for: Ideal for light-sensitive sleepers, home-theater owners, parents seeking nap-friendly nurseries, renters who need privacy for street-facing rooms, and anyone wanting blackout performance with a textured, design-forward curtain. If you need full darkness plus a linen-like aesthetic and flexible hanging options, these NICETOWN panels deliver a practical and stylish solution.
