Nilight 4-Way Flat to 7-Way Round Blade Trailer Adapter - Black, Sealed Cover & Mount Kit

Nilight's adapter converts a 4-way flat vehicle plug to a 7-way round blade trailer socket for a secure, weather-resistant connection that powers lights, brakes and auxiliary circuits. This compact wiring adapter simplifies towing when your tow vehicle has a 4-pin flat connector but your trailer requires a 7-pin round blade. Built with heavy-duty plastic, a sealed spring-loaded cover and a molded wire loom, the adapter organizes and protects wires while preventing loose connections that can cause intermittent lighting or brake signal failures.

How does this adapter ensure a reliable electrical connection?

The Nilight adapter uses a closely fitted 4-pin receptacle and a 7-blade round plug to eliminate wiggle and poor contact. Internal contacts are protected by the spring-loaded cover and corrosion-resistant construction to maintain continuity in wet or dusty conditions.

• Tight 4-way to 7-way fit reduces movement and poor contact.
• Sealed cover shields contacts from moisture and dirt.
• Molded loom protects wiring from abrasion and exposure.

What vehicle and trailer functions will it carry?

It routes the standard trailer circuits: turn signals, tail lights, brake lights, reverse and an auxiliary 12V feed when present. This makes the adapter suitable for most trailers, caravans, RVs and utility trailers that need a 7-blade connection from a 4-pin vehicle outlet.

• Turn signals and brake lamp circuits compatibility.
• Tail/running light and reverse lamp transmission.
• Auxiliary 12V power for trailer accessories when available.

Is installation difficult and what hardware is included?

Installation is straightforward: plug the 4-way into your vehicle, mate the 7-blade to the trailer, and use the included mounting bracket to secure the adapter near the hitch. Nilight provides all mounting hardware plus a user manual so you can position and fasten the adapter for minimal stress on the wiring.

• Comes with mounting bracket, six screws and six nuts.
• User manual guides placement and fastening steps.
• Compact size allows mounting on hitch or bumper for proper cable routing.

How durable is the adapter for long-term towing use?

The housing is heavy-duty black plastic designed to resist rust and UV degradation while concealing and protecting wiring. The spring-loaded cover and molded loom help keep moisture, dust and road debris away from electrical contacts to extend service life.

• Robust plastic shell resists corrosion and physical wear.
• Spring-loaded protective cap reduces exposure to elements.
• Wire loom keeps cables organized and shielded from abrasion.

Who is this for: Drivers who tow trailers, campers, utility trailers or small RVs and need to adapt a vehicle’s 4-way flat connector to a 7-way round blade trailer plug. It's especially useful for people who want a tidy, hard-mounted adapter that resists moisture and keeps electrical signals stable while towing.
