Ninja Air Fryer AF101 3.79 L Compact Air Fryer, 4-in-1 Crisp Roast Reheat Dehydrate, Grey — 41–204 °C, Dishwasher-Safe

The Ninja Air Fryer AF101 is a 4‑quart, 4‑in‑1 countertop cooker that crisps, roasts, reheats and dehydrates foods quickly with little to no oil.

This compact, high‑performance air fryer uses rapid air circulation and a smart processor to deliver consistent results across multiple functions. Its 4‑quart ceramic‑coated nonstick basket holds up to 2 lb of fries or a family‑size batch of snacks, while a wide temperature range (105°F–400°F) lets you gently dry fruit or quickly brown and crisp your favorite foods. Dishwasher‑safe parts and a durable aluminum interior make cleanup simple, and included recipes help you get started right away.

How does the AF101 get foods crispy without deep frying?

The unit circulates hot air at high speed around your food to recreate the browned, crisp surface of frying using minimal oil. A smart processor adapts fan speeds and temperature to each selected program for reliable texture and color.

• Rapid air circulation replaces most of the oil normally needed to crisp foods.
• High temperature up to 400°F for quick browning and Maillard reaction.
• Smart fan adjustments optimize airflow for even crisping.
• Crisper plate promotes airflow under food for uniform results.

What cooking modes can I use for everyday meals?

The AF101 offers four distinct programs—Air Fry, Roast, Reheat, and Dehydrate—so you can handle snacks, mains and preserved foods without swapping appliances. Each mode is tuned for typical home recipes, from frozen fries to roasted vegetables to dried fruit chips.

• Air Fry: Fast, crispy results for fries, wings and breaded foods.
• Roast: Even browning for vegetables, chicken pieces and small roasts.
• Reheat: Restores leftover texture without overcooking or sogginess.
• Dehydrate: Low temperatures and low fan speed for drying fruit and jerky.

How easy is the AF101 to clean and maintain?

Cleanup is designed to be straightforward: the nonstick basket and crisper plate are dishwasher safe and the outer housing wipes clean with a damp cloth. The ceramic coating and aluminum construction support everyday use while resisting sticking and buildup.

• Removable ceramic‑coated basket and crisper plate are dishwasher safe.
• Nonstick surface simplifies hand washing when needed.
• Wipeable exterior keeps countertop maintenance quick.
• Durable materials built to handle frequent cooking cycles.

Can the AF101 handle family portions and varied recipes?

Yes—the 4‑quart size accommodates family‑style portions like up to 2 lb of fries in a single batch, while the broad temperature span supports baking, roasting and dehydrating tasks. A 1550‑watt heating system shortens cook times compared with conventional ovens.

• 4‑quart capacity fits larger snack and side servings in one basket.
• 105°F–400°F range for delicate drying or high‑heat crisping.
• 1550 watts for faster heatup and reduced cook times.
• Includes a 20‑recipe booklet to expand your meal ideas.

Who is this for: The Ninja AF101 is ideal for busy households and anyone who wants quicker, lower‑oil cooking without sacrificing texture. It suits singles or small families who need a versatile countertop appliance for snacks, side dishes and simple meals, plus home cooks who like to experiment with dehydrated snacks and reheating options.
