Nix Ultra lice treatment shampoo + precision comb, 118 ml — pesticide-free 10-minute all-in-one formula for children 1+

Nix Ultra All-in-One Shampoo is a pesticide-free lice treatment that suffocates and removes superlice, lice, and nits while cleaning hair in a single 10-minute application.

If you’re confronting pesticide-resistant head lice (often called superlice), this Nix Ultra kit combines a concentrated treatment shampoo and a precision removal comb made for family use. The formula avoids traditional insecticides and instead removes parasites through a physical mode of action. The product is designed to be gentle enough for children aged one and up, lets you wash and treat in one step, and includes a comb to help extract remaining lice and eggs.

How does Nix Ultra kill superlice without pesticides?

Nix Ultra relies on a non-toxic, suffocation-based approach rather than chemical insecticides. The formulation coats lice and their eggs, disrupting their ability to breathe and causing them to be eliminated, while also rinsing away debris and residue during the wash.

• 100% pesticide-free formula that targets pesticide-resistant strains
• Works through physical action rather than neurotoxic compounds
• Cleans hair simultaneously—no extra shampoo required

How long does a treatment take and what steps are involved?

A single application of Nix Ultra All-in-One Shampoo treats and rinses away lice, superlice, and eggs in about ten minutes. After rinsing, use the included Nix Ultra Lice Removal Comb to remove any remaining lice and nits trapped near the scalp.

• Apply product thoroughly to dry or damp hair as directed
• Leave on for the recommended 10-minute period, then rinse
• Use the included comb section-by-section to extract remaining lice and eggs

Is Nix Ultra safe for young children and sensitive scalps?

Nix Ultra is formulated to be hypoallergenic and non-toxic for use on children aged one year and older. The product is made without parabens, dyes, or added colorants, minimizing common irritants while maintaining effective lice control.

• Safe for family use starting at age 1+
• Hypoallergenic and free of parabens and colorants
• Designed for scalp and hair cleaning during treatment

What comes in the package and when should I use additional products?

The kit includes a 4 fl oz bottle of Nix Ultra All-in-One Shampoo and a precision lice removal comb. The one-step shampoo cleans and treats hair, and the comb is provided to mechanically remove survivors and eggs after treatment. For household prevention or heavy infestations, Nix also offers sprays and extra combs separately.

• 4 fl oz treatment shampoo cleans and treats in one step
• Specialized removal comb for manual extraction after rinsing
• Complementary Nix products available for prevention and home treatment
