NOW Foods Grape Seed Extract 500 mg Maximum Strength — 90% Polyphenols, 90 Veg Capsules, Vegan Antioxidant

NOW Grape Seed Extract 500 mg is a highly concentrated, vegan-friendly supplement standardized to at least 90% polyphenols (including OPCs) designed to support antioxidant protection and overall tissue health.

This concentrated formula from NOW Foods delivers a potent dose of grape seed polyphenols—notably oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPCs)—in easy-to-swallow vegetarian capsules. The product is produced under GMP standards and carries certifications for Non-GMO, Kosher, and suitability for vegan and allergen-free diets. Natural color variations can occur between batches because this is a botanical extract.

What makes this "maximum strength" grape seed extract different from regular formulas?

This version is standardized to a minimum of 90% polyphenols, providing a much higher concentration of active compounds per capsule than lower-strength grape seed products. That means fewer capsules are needed to reach an equivalent intake of OPCs.

• Standardized to ≥90% polyphenols for concentrated potency
• 500 mg per capsule to deliver a robust single-dose amount
• Contains oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPCs), the primary bioactive components
• One capsule replaces multiple low-strength capsules in many regimens

How might I incorporate these capsules into my daily routine?

Many users take one capsule daily with a meal, though dosing can be adjusted based on individual needs and healthcare guidance. Because the capsules are vegetarian and free from common allergens, they fit into a variety of dietary patterns.

• Take with food to reduce any potential stomach sensitivity
• Suitable for vegan and gluten-free meal plans
• Works alongside other antioxidant-focused supplements if advised
• Store in a cool, dry place to preserve extract integrity

What quality assurances and ingredient standards does NOW Foods provide?

NOW Foods follows rigorous manufacturing and testing practices to ensure product consistency and purity. The company holds NPA A-rated GMP certification and lists multiple quality and allergen-free classifications on the label.

• GMP quality assurance with laboratory testing for potency and stability
• Non-GMO and Kosher certifications noted on packaging
• Free from soy, dairy, egg, nuts, and made without gluten
• Vegan/vegetarian capsules to suit plant-based users

Are there any storage or visual considerations I should know about?

As a botanical extract, the product can show natural color variation between batches; this does not indicate reduced potency. Proper storage helps maintain the extract’s stability over time.

• Natural color differences may occur from batch to batch
• Keep the bottle tightly closed and store away from heat and moisture
• Check expiration and lot codes for freshness information
• Manufactured and quality-checked by an established family-owned company
