Harvested from the Luo Han Guo fruit and processed into a fine powder, this certified organic extract offers a natural alternative to sugar and artificial sweeteners. Each compact 0.7 oz jar includes a small scoop for easy portioning, making it convenient for sweetening drinks, recipes, and snacks while keeping calories and carbs low. NOW Foods packages this product in the USA, and it carries multiple certifications like USDA Organic and Non-GMO Project Verified.

How sweet is this monk fruit powder compared with table sugar?

Monk fruit extract is intensely sweet — far sweeter than sucrose — so only a tiny amount is needed to match the sweetness of sugar. That concentrated sweetness makes it easy to replace sugar in beverages and many recipes when you adjust quantities accordingly.

• Up to 200 times sweeter than sugar by weight.
• Small scoop included to help measure appropriate portions.
• Use sparingly: a pinch can sweeten a single cup of coffee or tea.

Can I use this in cooking and baking, or is it only for drinks?

This powder works well for sweetening hot and cold beverages and can be incorporated into no-sugar recipes, though it does not caramelize or provide bulk like sugar. For baked goods that depend on sugar for texture or structure, consider pairing monk fruit extract with a bulk sweetener substitute or recipe adjustments.

• Ideal for sweetening teas, coffee, smoothies, and dressings.
• Suitable for low-carb and keto-friendly recipes when used with a bulk ingredient.
• Not a direct 1:1 replacement for sugar in recipes needing volume or browning.

What dietary needs and certifications does this product meet?

NOW Foods Organic Monk Fruit Extract Powder is formulated as a single-ingredient sweetener with broad allergen-friendly certifications to accommodate many diets. It’s free from common allergens and carries organic and non-GMO verifications, making it suitable for varied dietary preferences.

• USDA Organic and Non-GMO Project Verified.
• Vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free, nut-free, corn-free, and egg-free.

How do I measure and store this extract for best results?

The included scoop simplifies portioning so you can sweeten to taste without overusing the concentrated powder. Store the jar tightly closed in a cool, dry place to preserve flavor and prevent moisture clumping.

• Use the provided scoop; start with a light scoop and adjust to taste.
• Keep container sealed and away from heat and humidity.
• Store in a pantry or cupboard; no refrigeration required.
