NutriBiotic Sodium Ascorbate Vitamin C Powder, 454 g — Buffered Non-Acidic, Gentle on Digestion

NutriBiotic Sodium Ascorbate is a buffered, non-acidic Vitamin C powder designed to deliver bioavailable antioxidant support that’s gentler on digestion than ascorbic acid.

This 16-ounce tub provides a neutral-tasting, vegan source of sodium ascorbate — a mineral-buffered form of vitamin C that mixes easily into drinks and meals. Because it’s non-acidic, many people find it more comfortable to take at higher daily amounts without the stomach upset sometimes linked to ascorbic acid. The formula is gluten- and GMO-free, and NutriBiotic has produced vitamin C supplements for decades with an emphasis on purity and bioavailability.

How does this powder differ from regular ascorbic acid supplements?

Sodium ascorbate is a buffered version of vitamin C: the vitamin is combined with sodium to reduce acidity. That buffering alters the taste and gastrointestinal profile, making it less likely to cause heartburn or reflux for sensitive users. It still supplies the same antioxidant nutrient commonly associated with immune support and tissue maintenance.

• Buffered (non-acidic) form reduces stomach irritation risk
• Neutral, milder flavor compared with sour ascorbic acid
• Retains vitamin C’s antioxidant and cofactor roles

How should I use NutriBiotic Sodium Ascorbate in daily routines?

The powder dissolves quickly into water, juice, or a smoothie and can be taken once or split into multiple servings depending on intake needs. It works well mixed into morning beverages, blended into shakes, or stirred into warm drinks. Start with the manufacturer’s recommended serving and adjust under guidance of a health professional if you have special needs.

• Stir into cold or warm liquids for fast mixing
• Blend into smoothies for kid-friendly consumption
• Can be portioned across the day for larger total intakes

What benefits can someone expect from this vitamin C powder?

Sodium ascorbate functions as an antioxidant and supports biological processes that rely on vitamin C, such as collagen production and carnitine synthesis. These roles help maintain skin integrity, connective tissue repair, and cellular antioxidant defenses. Benefits vary by individual and depend on overall diet and lifestyle.

• Supports antioxidant protection and cellular health
• Contributes to collagen and tissue maintenance
• May help maintain healthy energy metabolism via carnitine support

Who is this for? NutriBiotic Sodium Ascorbate is suitable for people who want a highly soluble, vegan-friendly vitamin C powder that is easier on the stomach than acidic forms. It’s a good option for adults and children who dislike sour tastes, anyone with mild digestive sensitivity to ascorbic acid, and people seeking a flexible powder to add to beverages and recipes. Always consult a healthcare professional before beginning any new supplement regimen, especially if you have medical conditions or take medications.
