Ohniyou 42" Low Profile Ceiling Fan with Lights — Black, Slim Flush Mount, DC Motor & Remote/App

This low-profile ceiling fan combines modern minimalist styling with smart features to deliver airflow, dimmable lighting, and easy control in rooms with limited clearance. The double-sided blades (black on one side, wood-grey on the other) let you tailor the look to your décor, while the flush mount housing keeps the profile tight against the ceiling. Built around a reversible DC motor, it prioritizes low noise and energy efficiency to provide year-round air circulation and adjustable illumination.

How does the Ohniyou fan make controlling airflow and light simple?

Control options include the included hand remote and a smartphone app, giving you both instant physical control and wireless convenience. Within the app you can change fan speed, switch motor direction, set schedules and adjust light color temperature and brightness without leaving your seat.

• Remote: on/off, 6 fan speeds, light dimming, timer
• App: full control, scheduling, firmware updates where available
• Timers: set run times to save energy and automate comfort
• Syncs with home routines when used with compatible smart setups

How quiet and efficient is the motor for everyday use?

The fan uses a DC motor engineered for low noise and low power draw; sound levels can be as low as 20 dB on low settings, making it suitable for bedrooms and workspaces. Despite its quiet operation, the motor delivers up to 4,400 CFM across six speed settings and reverses for winter air circulation to distribute warm air without a furnace boost.

• Ultra-quiet operation from approximately 20 dB
• 6 speeds providing up to 4,400 CFM airflow
• Reversible motor for seasonal use
• Low power consumption compared with AC motors

What lighting options and color temperatures are available?

The integrated LED module provides three selectable color temperatures—warm, natural, and cool—and smooth dimming from 5% to 100% for the right ambiance. At 18W, the LED offers flicker-free illumination suitable for reading, relaxing, or task lighting while keeping energy use modest.

• 18W LED with 3 color temperatures: 3000K / 4500K / 6000K
• Dimmable range: 5% to 100% for precise brightness control
• Designed for eye-friendly, flicker-free light output
• Flush-mount diffuser for even light distribution

How easy is installation and which rooms is it intended for?

Installation is straightforward for flat ceilings and designed to be completed quickly with the included hardware and step-by-step guide; viewing the supplied instructional video helps speed setup. The fan’s low-profile design works well in rooms with lower ceilings and is suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas, kitchens, home offices, and covered patios.
