Omie OmieBox UP Kids Insulated Bento Box — Galaxy Purple, 355 ml Thermal Jar & Removable Ice Pack

Omie OmieBox UP Galaxy Purple is a grown-up insulated bento box that combines a 12-ounce thermal food jar and a removable ice pack so kids can carry hot and cold foods together in one compact lunchbox.

Designed as the next step from the original OmieBox, the OmieBox UP keeps school lunches versatile and durable for older kids. It pairs a larger vacuum-insulated food jar with a removable freezer ice pack and multiple compartments so meals stay at appropriate temperatures without extra containers. Made from 18/8 (304) stainless steel, BPA- and phthalate-free materials, this Galaxy Purple edition offers a modern look and practical features to simplify packing and cleanup.

How does the OmieBox UP keep hot meals warm for school?

The OmieBox UP includes an integrated thermal food jar that holds up to 12 ounces—about 40% more than the original model—so soups, stews, and hot pasta stay warm for several hours. Its vacuum-insulated stainless steel construction reduces heat transfer and helps maintain meal temperature until lunchtime.

• Built-in 12 oz vacuum food jar for hot entrees
• 18/8 (304) stainless steel for reliable insulation
• Thermal performance suitable for typical school-day periods

Can I pack both hot and cold foods together?

Yes—OmieBox UP is engineered to transport hot and cold items in a single container. The new removable ice pack sits alongside compartments to keep chilled foods like fruit, yogurt, or snacks cool while the thermal jar holds a hot entree.

• Removable ice pack keeps refrigerated items chilled for hours
• Separate compartments prevent temperature mixing
• Pack hot soup and cold sides without extra containers

Is the OmieBox UP easy to clean and built to last?

Maintenance was a priority: seals are removable so you can thoroughly wash the box daily, and the entire unit is dishwasher safe for convenience. When a seal wears out, replacement seals are available so you can keep using the lunchbox rather than replace the whole system.

• Dishwasher-safe components for quick cleanup
• Removable rubber seals for deep cleaning or replacement
• Durable stainless steel construction for long-term use

What size and age range is OmieBox UP best suited for?

OmieBox UP is scaled for older children and teens—recommended for ages 9 and above—offering increased capacity compared with the classic OmieBox. Its compact bento design still fits into backpacks while providing more room for heartier meals.

• Recommended age grade: 9+ years
• Holds a 12 oz thermal jar plus multiple compartments
• Compact footprint compatible with most school bags

Who is this for? The Omie OmieBox UP Galaxy Purple is ideal for families with school-age children who need flexible, temperature-controlled lunches—especially kids growing out of smaller containers but still needing an easy-to-carry solution. It works well for parents who want one durable, reusable system that combines a hot-food thermos with chilled compartments, reduces single-use packaging, and is simple to clean. Note: handle hot food and liquids with care to avoid burns; exercise caution when filling or serving hot items.
