OMMO Kids Metal Detector — Adjustable 27.5"–37.8" (Azure) with Animated Puppy LCD, Lightweight 562 g

OMMO Kids Metal Detector is a lightweight, child-friendly treasure finder with an animated puppy LCD, adjustable stem, and accessories for safe outdoor exploration.

Designed for curious kids aged roughly 3–12, the OMMO Kids Metal Detector combines a playful animated display with practical features that make backyard, beach, and park hunts simple and engaging. It balances ease of use, portability, and adjustable sizing so children of different heights can enjoy detecting coins, small metal objects, and other buried surprises down to about 4 inches.

How does the puppy LCD display make exploring more fun?

The detector’s animated LCD shows a puppy and bones image that reacts when metal is found, turning a routine beep into a visual reward. This visual cue helps younger children understand detection events and keeps them motivated for longer play sessions without confusing technical readouts.

• Friendly animation provides instant feedback for discoveries
• Simple visual cues make learning detector basics easier
• Appealing design encourages repeated outdoor play

What sizes and adjustments fit my child?

OMMO’s stem is adjustable from 27.5" to 37.8", so a single detector adapts as a child grows. A single buckle lets parents or kids quickly set the ideal arm length, improving comfort and keeping the coil parallel to the ground for accurate sweeps.

• Adjustable stem suits small children to preteens
• One-buckle mechanism for fast height changes
• Lightweight 1.24 lb design reduces arm fatigue

How deep and what types of metal can it detect?

When used with steady, side-to-side sweeps and the coil kept parallel to soil, the detector can identify coins and similar small objects at depths up to approximately 4 inches. It’s ideal for finding common backyard treasures—coins, costume jewelry, and metallic trinkets—rather than deep or large industrial objects.

• Effective depth for small items up to ~4" underground
• Best for coins, bottle caps, jewelry, and metallic toys
• Requires slow, even coil movement for consistent results

What’s included and how easy is setup?

The kit arrives with everything needed to begin detecting: the OMMO metal detector, a 9V battery, a child-sized plastic shovel and rake, and a foldable search coil. Assembly is intentionally simple—three steps—and the detector is made from safe ABS material for children's use.

• Complete starter set: detector, 9V battery, shovel, and rake
• Three-step installation suitable for parent-child assembly
• Foldable coil and compact parts for travel and storage

Who is this for? Families who want a safe, playful introduction to metal detecting for young explorers will find OMMO’s Kids Metal Detector a strong match. It suits parents or guardians looking for a lightweight, adjustable tool that combines visual rewards with straightforward controls, plus practical extras for immediate outdoor play.
